Rules and Regulations

All rules, regulations, car specifications, and races are controlled by SuperGT sanctioning body, GTMSA. Any and all questions should be directed to GTMSA officials (namely me ICallShotgun) and officials will do their best to answer in a timely and accurate manor.

All drivers must run at the specified weights and horsepower settings provided by GTMSA for each round. Horsepower and/or weight settings are adjusted for competitive reasons each round based on finishing positions from previous rounds.

Standard Online Racing Rules Apply.
  • No Cheating, hybrids, etc. You must run the car specifications I give you
  • Try keeping at least 2 wheels on course. Long races = small mishaps, but absolutely NO shortcuts
  • No wall-riding as well. Combine with penalties, this will slow you down considerably, so don't do it.
  • All decisions by GTMSA officials are final

Race (26 Laps)
  • Arcade Mode>>>Single Race>>>Original Courses>>>Grand Valley Speedway Normal>>>Select Car
  • AI difficulty set to 10 for all classes
  • AI Tires must be RS.
  • Tires restricted to RH,RM,RS or any combination thereof.
  • Tire Wear set to STRONG
  • Penalty set to FORCED PIT ENTRY
  • TCS is allowed IF DESIRED, but NOT mandatory. ACS is PROHIBITED.
  • Gearing is free.

Not sure if i will ne able to complete this race .. ive had a bit of an accident with my left eye and have to wear a bandage/patch and its very very irritating , etc etc .. will try ; but dont it .

Sorry to hear that,Marty.Hope you're getting better. 👍

I did the race once,it was quite easy,I had only two light touches with the A.I.,once the Castrol NSX forgot to brake before the first corner and came to close to me,the second touch happened while I lapped an another NSX and it was slowing down too early in the twisty section of the track. No penalties were given, but it is possible that I will try the race again with a different strategy.

I should send you an eyepatch, with the skull and crossbones on it.

YARRR!

I've done the race in the Celica, yet to do it in the Supra. Celica's "ok", but I can't get 5 laps out of RM's. I need to work on that. And i'm losing a LOT of time between Turn 7 and Turn 12...a LOT of time.

Oh well, hopefully I get a chance before the SuperBowl.

Got an opera tonight...yes, I go to opera. Falstaff, should be interesting. The girlfriend got tickets for $20 apiece, instead of the $150 they usually are, so how can i pass it up?

Thanks for eye patch guys .. trying to race with one eye is rather frustrating :indiff: will try sometime to-morrow {if the g/f doesnt have other plans}

Time submitted (finally).

I had a terrible week at work, followed by a weekend out of town, so I only managed 1 run this evening. Fortunately the run was pretty solid, so hoping for a decent finish here...this has historically been one of my better tracks in JGTC/SuperGT :odd:

Good luck all 👍

Times Sent. Only did one run, but it was a very solid run.

Times sent by me!

Did two races this evening, would have been three times. But got propositioned by the heavily pregnant wife and, well, I just couldn't refuse! ;)
First race was a three stopper on RM/RM the whole race. The second was an inspired strategy of 2x10 laps on RH/RM's, then 6 laps on RM/RS's and was over ten seconds quicker.
Hard racing in the RX-7, took till T2 on first lap to hit the front, and didn't get really clear of danger till they pitted on laps 5 & 6.

Neil :D

Sorry all. I will have the results up tonight, but I can't work on them now...I'm at work!

My computer took a crap on me again this weekend. I use a laptop, and now it won't recognize the difference between battery power and power-cord. It won't charge the battery when it's turned on and the cord's attached, and it it runs off of battery. And it wont run when it's just on powercord with the battery unattached.

I do, however, have the files I need on Jump-drive (hooray for planning ahead?) so something like LMS last season didn't happen again. I have what I need, and will be able to continue the series.

If you'd like to get a jump on practice, the next track is Twin Ring Motegi full course.

And Drew...I'll still take your time.

Sorry for not running and sending a time in for the race this week guys, I had my Geography trip until Wednesday, and upon coming back have felt really badly ill, I only was able to get up and walk about today actually. Next week, I should be back and racing again though. 👍

Joe

Okay, I realize there was a problem this week due to your laptop dying, but I'd like to state for the record here that not everyone has the flexibility to do runs throughout the whole week. This weekend will likely be a wash for me, which means I have tonight and tomorrow night to put in a time for the qualy :nervous:

Chris, any idea when we'll have the results (i.e. know our numbers)?

I would think that Quali will be delayed by a week guys.
It's now wednesday, and it would be inappropriate for Chris to start it mid-week.
Just my 2 penneth.

Neil

Assuming a week's delay to qualy, that's fine. I just hope Chris is okay...and hasn't done a "viper" on us ;) A bit odd to hear nothing for so long :odd:

Hmm...another 3 days and still no peep :nervous:

C:\>ping ICallShotgun
