Welcome to Supertouring World Series (aka Supertouring WS)

RACE DAY INFORMATION​


PLEASE VOTE FOR A RACE DAY! Practice race held TONIGHT @7pm Eastern!

Race days will feature a double-header (2 races) with 20 MINUTES of qualifying on the CHOSEN START TIRE. Tire compounds will be Racing HARD and Racing MEDIUM. BOTH tire compounds will be used at least once EACH RACE. Race distance (laps) will be determined on a time set (between 30-40 minutes each race). The 2 rounds per race day will be separated by qualifying order for Race 1 and with a Reverse grid based on the results of race 1 in race 2. Starts (for race 1) will be rolling with a 60mph (100kph) pace speed, unless otherwise specified, in a double (side by side) staggered order. A standing start will be in place on race 2. As said above, qualifying will be on the tires you choose to start the race with. It will begin after all cars are called to track in their respective 'spec checked' order. GTP OLR apply ALONG with these important things to remember;

1. Unless appointed, you are not a steward! So do not take matters into your own hands. All incidents will be reviewed after BOTH races as long as they are brought forward.

2. Not everyone is the same speed or skill level! So don't be discouraged if you're not as fast as another racer. Your time will come and performance balancing will be in place to even the racers.

3. Follow directions in the lounge/room! Things will go smoothly if people listen to the order and directions that the host of the room gives. Don't ignore or interrupt the host, let him explain procedures.

Toyota Altezza Touring Car (s) could work well to and then we could have all the Japanese manufactures!
 
I don't think I'm going to allow that, but I may allow another car if it's competitive enough. I'll get more details later today.

I added the Lexus IS 200 GT1 and updated the regs for the cars. Also updated the sign up list.
 
Going to be online in about an hour and a half to two hours, so around 5 or 6pm eastern if anyone wants to have a practice race or two.
 
Added a poll on the time and day of holding the races. Please vote which time(s) day(s) favor your schedule the best.

Qualifying is held right before race 1 correct? And are the two races going to be a feature & sprint or same length? Ill get back to you on car interests
 
Same length for races, qualifying right before the 1st race. Thanks for signing up guys. I'll make sure to add you to the list. As of now were doing Wednesday evenings, but that can change!
 
Wednesdays I will have school starting at 6:30pm pst - 10:00pm pst!
Are you racing Bankfin series Seth? I just signed up, I will actually be practicing for that event!
 
No, I don't participate in any of those WMA related events, I'm not their biggest fan to say the least. And Thursdays are actually in the lead in the votes, so that may be what we go with.
