You're looking at the time for the previous run. The Supra ran a 12.62. He also got a really bad launch so it probably was stock. And when he saw the other car run away he probably didn't care anymore.
The Mustang caught a red light, and the Supra's exhaust was loud, the spool of the turbo(s) were loud, and it was traction limited (3rd gear rubber). All of which tell's me it was a modified Supra, that was probably running a street tire, hence the bad 1/4 time.
That was at Firebird intl Raceway in PHX az....and i'm PRETTY Sure that was Saad Saad's new supra.....Hes an arabian guy who is the owner of about 3 supra's I believe...2 of which (Silver, black w/ no wing) run 10's and this is probably his newest.

I don't know if you've ever BEEN to a track before...but chances are he was just timing himself....Because the mustang has ALOT more $ into it than the supra....So wuss??? Hardly.....

I sound it monster.......Saad's been calming down on his tuning regiment.....and as I said..it isn't his 2 more popular supra's if it is his....because they both run consistant 10's on street tires...And I believe they're automatic...
That was obviously a 5-6 speed.
I havent seen the video, but if the Mustang got the Red Light, then the Supra wouldnt need to run so fast, which could explain why it looked like he sucked (if he did look like it)...

I saw that supra when it first cracked into the 9's w/ a 9.998, it was at Speedworld here in AZ, then a few weeks later he got that 9.74, unbelieveable. you can see videos of it at www.wotm.com, just click on the racing vids on the side, it has a lotta racing vids of supras and stuff, even a couple of Saad's cars. awesome vids
