I love sushi. After a long bout with work, I'll sit down at this late night place around the corner from where I live, and show through a few bowls. Wash it down with some sake and stagger home. :D

Does anyone else like it? I'm asking about the Sushi, not california rolls that you pick up in the supermarket, but the real stuff (yes, sashimi for those PC'ers out there).

Anyone else?

you bet I love it. I love going to this little sushi bar around here. Wasabee on the sushi is really good as well.

I wouldn't bother. East Indian food is by far the most tasteful and best to eat.

Admit it! For those who have eaten it.

tell me bout it... i just had some of the best behari kabab i have had in MONTHS...there isn't any room left for anything else now :p

i've never had sushi though...my past experiences with seafood in general were never good. i always got extremely sick to the stomach afterwards or if not that, then the fishy taste would leave me feeling nasty forever. needless to say, i generally ended up being forced to spit it out cos it was just too hard for me to take it down...even if it was at a very very reputable seafood place and my mom/dad/bro/sis all said it was damn good eating.

Huh, sushi. :yuck:

Actually, I like sushi, it's just that I make it so often at work that I've grown not to like it. :chef:
Kind of like I hate lobster now after living in Maine for a summer.

Making the rice perfect. :irked:
Crap, now that I'm thinkin about it, I'm not going to type all the crap that I do for a sushi display cus I'd be sittin here forever.

The next time I make a sushi display, I'll take a picture of it and post it. Sound good? :)

I guess the one thing that turns me off about sushi right now is the nori. I'm just not diggin the seaweed wrap right now.

Wasabi - :trouble:
Pickled ginger - :yuck:

Exactly, I ate Shushi and I felt like throwing it in the garbage.

why is ur name super-supra when ur avatar has what looks to me like a skyline?

Why is my username "Integra Type R" when I am using an R34 as my avatar? Just because your screen name says one thing, doesn't mean that your avatar must state the same. Take M5Power for example. His screen name is "M5Power," but is his avatar an M5? Or any BMW for that matter? No. it is a Joshua Tree.

Ok, who cares? Talk about sushi now. :)

Alrighty. :)

THe first time I had sushi, I almost threw up. :yuck: But now I think it's alright. :)

Integra, he was talking to super-supra aka myself. :)Nonetheless, a good smack in the face 👍

I know that.

Sushi's yummy. All of the flavors in it work really well together... and topped with some fake-looking ginger root and a dab of soy sauce... 👍

Never had it. I'm not open to very many new foods, because I have very peculiar taste, but you never know.

Boom, make me some sushi :).

Haha!

Yeah, if you have very peculiar tastes, raw fish might not be for you.
But there are some that come cooked like:

Tempura battered shrimp,
King crab,
Smoked Salmon w/cream cheese! :yummy:

Do you like "heat" as in spicy heat? If so, you can put enough wasabi (which is a very strong Japanese horseradish) on your sushi that you won't be able to taste a thing.

Try it out man. 👍
