I've noticed that some cars in GT4 (mainly the lighter ones) are prone to becoming very unsettled on the Nurburg, especially after putting a stiffer suspension on them. Cars like the stock SL600, SL500, and 300C are just fine... but if I try to drive my Lotus 7 (which has had all 3 stages of weight reduction and a racing suspension applied to it) on it, the car bounces all over the place. Even my Skyline (also with a full course of weight reduction and a racing suspension) bounces. Obviously the suspensions are just too stiff for the Nurburg (despite the fact that the spring rates on the Lotus are something like 6kg/mm) even though they work just fine on all the other tracks on the game. It's somewhat disappointing because I'd like to drive something as agile as the 7 is with a fairly stiff suspension and super soft compound tires on the Nurburg.
I've tried reducing the spring rates and shock bound settings to minimal effect (except to make the handling much worse
).
Anyone else had the same experience? Or a different one for that matter?
