Suspension Setup A & B. Where did this option go???

Anyone else miss the feature where they could have multiple suspension setups on a particular car in the settings section and flick between the two when ever they wanted instantly?

This proved to be a very valuable tool when your testing whereby you could switch back to a base suspension setup instantly after fiddling with settings on another setup.

This feature also allowed to switch between setups quickly for different tracks (bumpy Nordschleife vs smooth Monza).

Also, I find I setup a car more aggressively for events without tyre wear than events with tyre wear. And flicking between the two instantly was very handy rather than manually adjustment for the event.

I'd like to see this ideally in an upcoming update, on in the very least, in GT6.

Thoughts/Opinions?

It's what practice sessions are for. I'd have no use for it.

It's a popular request though, so they should include it.

OMG I wish they still had that. I have some cars that are super fast and can be good race cars but are also awesome drift cars. If that feature was there I could just click the B version and bam it's perfect for drifting and if it's race time no prob just switch back to A. Idk why they took that out, I'm sure it isn't hard to do and would only add to the game.

PD lack common sense in so many areas, this is typical of the way they mindlessly abandon used features in GT between series. We could save 3 set ups in previous games (rival games let you save unlimited set ups), but now in GT5 we can only save one, stupid-stupid-stupid!

Yep. Some games even automatically change setup depending on the track and what setup you saved to that track.

If this would be in the game it would save the planet. I have to write multiple set ups down on paper which isn't good because they are the planets resources. Then the time taken to transport them into the game is just wasting electricity and time.

I sound like I have a Prius but it would be so much nicer to have this bit in the game.

As well as fast forwarded b spec and in game saves and more better prize cars (a 300000cr McLaren for completing a 24 hour race what the...) and more prize money and online leaderboards and more spaces for my offline leaderboards.

In all reality though we just have to accept the game as it is and pray that PD repairs these faults eventually.

It was incredibly handy for saving setups for different tracks though 👍 ... it's always baffled me why PD dropped so many small but important features from the transition from GT4 to GT5

This is why they needed another 2 years, to remember to include useful tools like this!!

I would love to have this option back, not necessarily to have different set ups for different tracks but simply one set up for offline and one for online as they often require some alterations due to the (slightly in some cases, major in others) different physics.
It would even make more sense now to have at least 2 different set ups available than before, although not just for the suspension, also for different tyres, different LSD settings, etc.

Have to agree.

It seems as if it was intentionally omitted for some reason, since it was already in GT5 prologue. Confusing.

I wish we still had this so I could quickly compare my tuned settings to stock around a track :(
