As many of us GT5 drivers get frustrated after a repetition of tuning cars that don't like to turn. Cars like the GT-R, the Enzo. I believe , if I am correct , then if you are tuning you GT-R and it just simply won't turn , look at you weight distribution. And if it is front heavy like the GT-R or back heavy like a RS 6 Avant '08 , then you want to tune your Dampers accordingly. An example is the GT-R, it's front heavy so you want both of your rear dampers to be 1 value higher than you front and make your rear brakes stronger. This means when you are high speed braking , brake early for the corner and you will notice it can be thrown into the corner and when you are on the throttle in the corner it doesn't drift on into the outside wall. But for now its just a theory I have come up with.

Recently I've been running low Compression and high Extension in the front, so that when you accelerate out a corner, you keep the weight and grip on the front tires. Doing this has really helped on some cars like the Mk 4 Supra. Running a light front compression with a high rear compression can affect your brakes, I find that I run slightly red at the end of heavy braking.

Well to be honest I haven't really tested it on FR cars but if set up like the GT-R black edition the way I've described it should handle more like a FR.

Yeah, I've really only tried it with FRs lol. The Supra was a big culprit with understeer in corner exit because it has the anchor (rather power anchor mind you) forcing it wide.

I'll have to try it out, I'm not that great at tuning AWD cars.... I hope more people add theories to this thread. Maybe it will become like the LSD one that MotorCityHami posted (sorry if I missed spelled that id!)

this actually works with more than just 4WD. it works with FR, RR and MR.. though less so with MR as it depends on the vehicle. FFs usually require softer dampers in the back with lower ride height so as to "tag along" where ever the front is pointed with minimal retaliation from the arse
