Burammm
How long did this race take you, and with what car?

I am quite hesitant to do a race longer than 4 hours in one go, until PD provides us with a save button. I am afraid the Suzuka endurance is going to take much longer, since it's 172 laps iirc.... How long did it take you?

My Bobs did it in bspec, during a rain storm, in about eight hours using the Minolta race car. When I switched them to the FGT, it took just over seven hours, again during a rainstorm. My guess is that I can complete it in six to seven hours in my FGT with no rain.

I did it with an R89C because Nissan Group C cars have a tradition of winning that event. And for god sake, I was really carsick after like 2 hours. My best lap times were around 1:45, but the tedious pitting and the ever happening loss of concentration made the average like 2:00. So about 6 hours will get you through.

Five and a half hours in R10 stealth no engine tune just oil and racing soft, god it was boring LOL towards the end as did it in 1 stint.

I used the Mazda Furai, lap times between 1:55 - 2:00 and pitting every 20-25 laps ... Took me about six to six and a half hours and god it was hard to keep going, I did half then went out and did the other half when I got home. Given the choice I wouldn't do it ever again even if there was a save function ... Positive thing is though that I now love racing Suzuka! I do think I could go back and do it with the FGT if I where to do it now as I have the wheel, just wish I could use my F2007, love driving that thing!

As said above it is boring, I think I was averaging about 30 laps per hour!

Something I noticed on this event was that the AI was incredibly aggressive when I was lapping them, I got pushed off track so many times!

When I watch it on TV each year it's usually around 6h00-6h30 and my b-spec bob did it in 6h30 on the Arta SuperGT. I know I can do 1.55-1.57 laps on superGT so guess it's like Hig-GT said, around 6h30.

I did it in 4.5 hours in a X2010. I maxed the downforce and left everything else unchanged. It took me about 5 hours as I ate dinner about an hour and a half in.

I did it in A-spec with the Calsonic IMPUL GT-R; I threw the Mid RPM Turbo on it to help when exiting the corners & to guarantee I won. With Racing Hards on the back & Softs on the front it took about 5h 50min total.

I did it in the FGT so I could get some practice in the car on that track. I was finally able to go back and get gold at the 20 lap FGT cup race at Suzuka after I was finished.

The 20 lap FGT event @ Suzuka is the most challenging/entertaining for me in the entire game.

4 and 1/2 to 5 hours X2010 not including smoke and beer breaks, soft racing tyres, stock settings (but it does not handle like the Vettel challenge X2010) around Suzuka.

My Bobs did it yesterday in about 4 hrs and 38 min or so with the x2010. I was pissed when I saw the car ticket : a Nissan Fairlady RM whatever that I had already bought days ago in the ucd. Oh well :ouch:

I don't plan on doing this race myself until I get a wheel. I haven't even raced the 4 hr Mazda event in A spec yet lol.

Last month I started the endurance games, today it will be Suzuka 1000 km turn, 172 laps is a very long race and I don't want to drive more than 1 hour and half every day, so I believe need at least 3 days. I"ll drive Nissan XANAVI Nismo Z06 with soft sport tires, I let you know how many pit stop and change of tires will be needed, time, gas ect..

Dude, this thread's over a year old.

Why is it so bad he wanted to add to it?

At least he searched for this better than making a new thread.

I've finally decided to do the bspec suzuka now with the FGT, I dunno when I'm going to do the A-spec (and it's after like 2 years I owned the collector edition of the game and 750+ cars later - yes I bough tons of cars from used and online, I like to collect cars :) )

Highest Bob now lv 37 and I don't want to use the X (the one that received from lv 35 bob) since the mileage still 0 and I haven't drive it my self :D

Best lap so far 1:41 with average 1:45 (still lap 20 and I'm heading to sleep) Dry condition (hope the weather is not going to change..... ... ... It's not going to change... right?)

I've been lurking for the forum for the past month and gtp helps me a lot with the tuning I should say (thank you!) but please be lenient for us that is still newbie here :dopey: (at least for the one that still use search topics before creating a new one) and casual players :)

PS: Merry Xmas from Indonesia :)

I did the 1000km in the HSV-010. It took me about just over 6 hours game time. I worked in 25 lap stints over 2 to 3 days
