Welcome to the Suzuka SuperLap Challenge.
A time trial event for tuned cars on this amazing track. This was organized so that the tuners and drivers could show their skills without being restricted or punted off the track. This is the most we can do before we actually have the final GT5.

The event will run on the full Suzuka track using the Free Run mode in online PRO races, so physics are Professional only.

Regulations:
Cars: All cars except Citroen GT and F2007
PP: No limits
Tyres: S3 (keeping with the global Time Attack rules)

Time must not be red and at least 2 wheels must be kept on track at all time, rumble strips are considered part of the track.

I can't make sure all the times are honest, but Save your Best Lap Replay just in case I ask for confirmation (most likely the top ten times).

PM me the time with your PSN name and lap time, car make, HP (in hp) and Weight (in kg) used. If you used a tune from another tuner in this forum then please specify who it was to give them some recognition.

All times must be in by February 1st.

would be nice if you give the tuners also freedom of tirechoice. This way you will really have the fastest tunes/rides and times ;)

I very much like the picture 👍

Will this be broken down by car, or just overall best time? And are we allowed to send in more than one entry?

im keeping to S3s because that is the standard for time attack events, the tires must be street legal.
all cars run together and you can submit more than one car just don't submit like 20 or so :) .
Imagine this as a real time attack event, any street based car, almost any modification and street legal tires.

just wondering if anyone was interested in this?

When GT5 comes out there will obviously be a Tsukuba Superlap and i hope it will be made with Sports tires like in real life... (doing 40s second lap times is not realistic)
