These are so much fun to race with. I'm thinking Sunday afternoon timeslot. The tracks would be mostly twisty with maybe a race at Monza or Le Mans in there.
Races will be 80 miles long and endurance races(High Speed Ring and Eiger) will be 120 miles. There is a compulsory pit stop in each race.
Here's how your car has to be setup.
1.Buy Suzuki Swift Sport'07
2.Change oil
3.Install any aero
4.Install low RPM turbo
5.Stick on some racing softs.

Number of laps will be 25.
There is a mondatory pit stop.
Grid start with false start check.
Must follow GTPlanet Online Racing rules and guidelines.

Must drive cleanly. These cars are pretty stable so the odd bump or crash will be alright, just don't be stupid like taking the optimum line through a corner on the first lap.
I'm not sure about a safety car. I will most likely have one.
Also it would be rolling starts on half the tracks while standing starts on the other half.
Qualifying will be short at 10 minutes long.
Also the schedule isn't 100% complete. The tracks will be revealed one by one. The only secure rounds are High Speed Ring and Eiger.
The tracks on that list are the most likely to feature. I'm also considering Nurburgring GP/D or possibly a track which is voted on while the lobby is open to add to the variety.
 
Bump. This doesnt seem to be gathering interest. I'm pretty surprised considering how fun the cars are. I'll message all my friends today on PSN and hopefully we will have some more interest.
 
Might give it ago if there is enough interest in it, as i do own the swift in real life lol
 
Ok here's what the car should be. Buy the Suzuki Swift Sport '07. Do an oil change, add on any aero parts you like, put on a low RPM turbo and buy and tires you want. Races will be longish, Im thinking around 80 miles for te regular races and 160 for the endurance events so the tires you have are important. Your free to paint your cr and rims any available colour that you want(unless it's been taken). Also I might make the series opener at High Speed Ring and endurance race.

Just a word of advice, you should really give it time for people to sign up. You only made this thread 2 days ago.
 
I understand it's just I'm surprised I've only got 1 entry and only 1 other guy has made it clear that he's pretty likely to race in this as well. I think I plain just have no patience. I'll wait.
 
When exactly will you be starting this, if the times work out I might join.
 
Probably next week or the week after. The time will go down to a poll between Sunday afternoon and Friday evening GMT.
 
Are you going to have a poll about the race date or the week we are racing on.
 
We would be racing every week and the poll will be put here asking what day it will be on.

I'M thinking that maybe we can make it a race weekend by having a second race with reverse grids. They won't be completely reverse grids.
I'll use a random number generator.http://www.random.org/. We wouldn't have this for the endurance races at high speed ring and Eiger Nordwand.
The format would be. Friday:70 mile race. Sunday:30 mile race or have both races on Sunday back to back or Friday back to back.
 
I'm not sure about implementing a safety car so if there is any volunteers the skyline safety car is in the online dealership now. If someone volunteers I will let them be safety car.
 
I think you should have everyone qualify, and then have the slowest qualifer run the pace car for the race. 💡
 
Problem with that is qualifying might be really close so a couple of thousandths will decide safety car. Also it's really hard to get away from people in these races because the cars are low powered.

It's not that much of a neccesety to have a safety car anyways. Are you signing up?
 
Sure, how do I sign up.

I don't know if I can make it for Sunday races, but definitely for Friday races.

Your the second to officially do it. An other guy said he would here and there is 3 other guys that said they would do it on PSN.

You need to get some more interest in this championship, even though 6 drivers would not be that bad.

Also when are you starting the poll for race days?
