Swap disks and action replays

I know that there has been many threads on chipping systems and stuff, i dont want to open my ps2, so im looking for an alternative.

Swap disks play back ups and original imports. This i what modchip.com says

Also action replay I heard and be used to play imports.

Would it be possible to get the low down down on these 2 things?

No, they can't.

The action replay is the EU version of the gameshark.

Find a place that does PS2 chipping and get someone else to do it. I did a PSX once, but it's only a few wires. The PS2 is a bit more complicated.

action replay is not a eu version of gameshark anymore it is its own seperate cheat device and as far as i know the only action replay able to play other region discs is the one for the gamecube cause i have one for the gamecube and ps2 and the ps2 one wont let you play oversea discs unless there is a code out for it but the gamecube action replay when you start it it asks what region you want to play that means if i had a disk from japan i could play it and use the codes for it cause it comes with the codes for all 3 regions
