Swap Magic Boot Discs

Does anyone have this? I was thinking about getting it so I can play my imports. Does it work good? Anyone?

My friend has something similar, where you have to take off part of the front of the PS2 to make it work, and it works very well, and it is much cheaper than getting a modded PS2, I was pissed when he got it, cuz I paid a lot more for my modded one.

Yea, I think that's called the Slide Card or something. I dunno, I might get that to.

lemme help........

there are two kinds...Slide Card and Swap Disk...Swap disk(or swap Magic) still needs a no solder mod chip........slide card requires you to remove the front cover of the CD tray in order to intall the "slide card". its minor intall for both but the SWAP MAGIC will requre you to open your console and voiding your worrenty...(sry about the spelling )

I got the case where it opens. My warranty was already old so it didnt really matter.

I wish I knew about that slide card before I bought the modchip that I have and the swap disks that came with it.
