Guys & dolls,

Recently I have acquired (@ marketplace) a few cars with 0 miles/0 switch, but today when I was checking the colors I suddenly saw that 5 of the 11 cars .. are no more 0 switch, but now all with 1 switch.

How is this possible, never changed color or oil change?

Please does anyone what's going on?
Many thanks in advance.
:nervous:

UPDATE
By the my misery is even worse as I thought.
Now it seems that my Nissan GT-R SpecV (GT Academy Special) [DLC one]
has suddenly 2 switches, and it must have 0 switch .... I'm going MAD!

Any thoughts?

When you get in a car it counts as a change even if you don't do anything to it.

Why are the other 6 cars still 0 switches?
This all sounds weird to me.

That happens to me too. I switch to a car and it still has zero switches. I think it depends on what you click on around the menu. (This is about the zero switches staying zero when switching to them)

Maybe they were sent with the 1 switch or when you got the car you my have enter the car by accident.

No, I always check the incoming cars ... it was certainly 0 switch and I never enter the car, no way!
Remains still a mystery ....

Not sure about that ... restarted the game and still 1 switch instead of the original 0 switch.

Same here. I have a car with 2 wins and zero switches, LOL. I started noticing when I was using some of my 0/0 cars from the OCD ... switches and wins seem to record randomly. I won three seasonal races with one car and it shows zero wins. All my wins show on my profile, and I've never cared at all about switches, so it does not bug me too much.

Don't say this man. I don't want to see my cars with switches if I check them.

What's so important about switches? Are you playing 'The Real Non Switching, Non Driving Simulator'? Does it really make any difference?

Personally don't much, but in a time where everyone is looking for 0 miles/ 0 switch ... my cars become worthless and untradable for the ones you want them.

And if it occurs to me, it can happen with others as well, you will be sick for weeks if that happen to them. Maybe there is an explanation, maybe a BUG in GT5?

You tell me!

My advise, will be ... close your eyes when you try this at home.
💡

Haha, I actually went through my 0/0 garage last week to update my garage. thw only cars I didn't check are all my RUFs which I guess count for 1/4 of my garage now.

I didn't notice anything weird.

What cars now have switches? Maybe you can figure out who you got them from and ask them if their cars now have switches too. This could help us figure out if it a GT5 thing or maybe just a problem only you are having. Hmm

I'm talking about the RUF's, what else ... including a couple of yours.
And the Academy car, read update.
Don't panic!

I will double check my RUF tonight. I had DLC, a stealth car and I used it. I deleted it and downloaded it and it is 0/0 again.

Okay, I want to that as well with my Academy car but when I checked the download history I only saw the Jaguar chromeline (twice) and not the Academy car ... so I don't dare to delete the car, because he don't will be reload again since I got this one only at my account.

The Jaguar is on my main and sub account, so that's works fine, besides that the Jaguar is still 0/0.

Please tell me the results of your check, thanks in advance.

the only concern here is the outstanding BUG which may or may not affect other things, perhaps critical things.... :/

Just cause it isn't critical to you doesn't mean it isn't critical to someone else. This is a critical bug to all people who collect 0/0 cars and that is a decent about of people.

And StarLight, I double checked all 50 of my RUF 0/0 or at least 0 mile and not a single one has a switch.

I sent the Off-White 3400S 0/0 before the reset. I am hoping I get one of the other two cars I need before tomorrow AM so I don't have to send you another car immediately. I don't wan to keep sending you 0/0 cars that decide they want to drive themselves.

Let me know what you want to do.

What about this one?

Gran Turismo 5: The Real "Not 4 Children" Simulator

:dunce:

Exactly what harm is there in driving a car?

I can understand trying to get 0/0 cars for your own use (so later when it has 9.5 million miles you can say you did all of it) but letting them sit?

I've got a problem with bubbling real cars so I really can't understand sticking them in a protective bubble in a game.

That said... The only time I've seen switches go up is when you change to a car. It's not "changes" as in mods (in fact you can now have a modified, albeit not irreversibly modified car with 0 switches) but changing into a given vehicle.

Either it's user error or erm... User error. Unless viewing a car makes the changes go up on it, but I highly doubt that.

haha, I am the same way. I only 0/0 for a special project and I only keep a 0/0 garage so I can keep the collectors happy.

But cars are meant to be driven. Their beauty need to be shared with all not hoarded in a garage.

It will have 0 switches as long as u dont get out of it. Once ur in it. Ot wont show til you get out into a new car.

Are cars meant to be driven?
Are houses meant to be lived in?
Are books meant to be read?

Exactly how does letting your GT5 car collection sit unused make you look more grown up? "Not for children"?

I like to drive cars. It's probably why they have an engine, transmission, steering wheel, etc.

Also, GT5 is for children too. It's not a hardcore simulator. Pretty sure the game appeals to casual gamers too. Hence, children.

GT5 appeals to a reasonably wide audience, you have those attacking the Nurb in a racecar with all aids off and a full wheel setup as well as those that are casual gamers with a DS3 and aids on.Perspective.

Why wouldn't you want to drive your DLC GTR? It's not like your going to trade it or even put online for share.

Just cause it isn't critical to you doesn't mean it isn't critical to someone else. This is a critical bug to all people who collect 0/0 cars and that is a decent about of people.

First of all, I'm glad you have no trouble with the switches.
I also check constantly the RUF's and so far so good, no more switch changes.
Yes, I received the RUF, and checked ... as I expected it is 0/0.
Just roll-out the delivery scheme.
Thanks mate.
