System crashes when trying to update to 1.03

Mine did the triple beeps and crashed trying to upgrade to 1.03 too. Tried again after the PS3 came back up and it worked fine.

So pleased I am on this forum. Was getting the same problem, but the 2 second advice has worked.

It's very frustrating when they release an update that has its own glitches. Don't they test these updates before they are released?

This is awesome. Had about 30 minutes of available time to play tonight and find myself spending all of it updating, crashing, updating, crashing. Don't they test this crap before they release it?

I went into the game and did the update that way. The first time, it crashed my 80gig fat console, but when I retried, it went okay. I had no problems on my new limited edition blue super slim.

i went the long way round and deleted the game data file on the PS

i didnt relise you could update the game in-game.

When I say in-game, I just mean I launch the game and it tells me to update, and I do it from there, as opposed to this method...

too all ps3 users...

shut off automatic system update.MANUALLY downoad the latest ps3 system update. then start gt6 and it should update should start.
