Watch the video before you say something. As for the wheel I say I would try to put it back together and try to get a warranty replacement.

I don't know anything about how steering wheels work, just how to use them. So I was trying to point him in the direction to place where people discuss steering wheels.. That was a tad harsh but I didn't think I was out of line.

Will watching the video change where the thread belongs? Pretty snippy response to someone that was 100% correct.

Here is my nightmare! I have made this video.
Your best bet is returning it, unless you voided the warranty trying to fix it. In which case, you'll need assistance from those more knowledgeable of "steering wheels and cockpits".👍

Thank you CSL 👍.

Yes I have purchased all the parts on how to extract it. All I need to do now is drill.

Does the extractor that you have require you to drill into the broken shaft first in order to remove it? If so a little bit of advice for you, if you have never used a screw extractor I would not make this project your first. It is very hard to drill into a narrow shafted screw with a hand drill. A drill press would be best to avoid the drilling a crooked hole. Also be careful to not make the hole that the screw goes into any bigger. If possible, could you remove that part to get behind it and clamp onto the screw with some vice grips? It would be a far easier way to remove it.

I first want to apologize for the snippy response. On the GTP app all I can see in his response was "Try the"

And I was like is he trying to be smart. I just check on my PC and I see the link he post. I am deeply sorry for the misunderstanding.

Now you will never get a replacement even if i gets a serious problem that was not cased by you... you voided waranty by opening the wheel

This. I don't understand why people feel the need to take something apart worth so much and potentially void their warranty. If you have a problem, send to the the manufacturer. These aren't old cheap wheels like the G25
