I really don´t have an opinion on that, just do what you like Furi.
Result stays same: Good (very hard) close racing

I'd say change to Racing Hard and leave tyre wear on.

But if you absolutely want to stay on Mediums, then you can turn it off as well, because on Hards tyre wear doesn't make that much of a difference over the short distances anyway.

Tyre wear off definitely makes it easiest to balance the cars.

If you're keeping RMs, switch it off. If you're returning to RHs, switch it back on. I remember Indy being an absolute bitch on tyres last season.
