Hey guys im now up and running in iracing thanks to your help. Im starting my second week with 5 wins in 10 starts in the mx5 at laguna :D i have an obutto rig and g27 set as well as a 27" asus monitor. Now i have the irace dash for my andorid 8.9" galaxy tablet and i have a little stand for it on my keyboard tray but it just sits too low out of the way to be of any use in a race. Im just wondering everyone else's thoughts and what you've done. Ive seen stands separately for about $80 us and stands that clip on to a table for around $30 but ive seen these stands move when shifting etc. Also not a diy guy as im a student and have no tools to speak of. Any opinions and comments would be great! Cheers

Do you have an Obutto Ozone or revolution? If you use an Ozone with the Ozone monitor mount then what you need is a RAM mount. On the expensive side but the best solution for this problem. If you have an Ozone then use RAM part number RAM-B-149ZU-C and for my Nexus 7 I used RAM-HOL-TAB18U but if you go to the RAM mount site you can get the correct one for your tablet. They make a few different ones but the Tab-Tite one works really good. It's spring loaded and keeps the tablet locked in place but it's still easy to remove and doesn't scratch it.

I have mine mounted to the post of the monitor mount and it puts my tablet just in front of the monitor so it can be adjusted to sit right under the screen. It looks like it was made to work with an Obutto. Zero wobble or movement. The mount locks down real tight. Well worth the money I spent on it. You could actually mount it to the wheel tray as well if you wanted to. It came with 2 different size U bolts and some spacers to accommodate other pipe sizes. I'll try to get a pic posted for you later.

I bought mine here

and for the Nexus

For reference this is a 27" Viewsonic monitor.
