Has anyone played this game yet?

It sounds really fun to beat on a drum to play a game.

I'm gonna get this game for myself on Christmas since i play drums anyways.

I think it'll be fun.

What do you guys think?

Wow someone else out there likes the game too
I love the Taiko no Tatsujin (Japanese version) series, especially the anime festival one with many great songs
I never tried the American Taiko Drum Master though, so I'm not sure what the song selection is like or the mini games included. But if you like Japanese music and fun cute mini games, you have to try out the Japanese versions. The game is much better played at the arcades though since you get a bigger, better drum to use ... but it's still fun as hell on PS2

The song selection has some crap (imho) US pop songs, some songs with a festival feel, and my favorite, the classical music selections. I've thought about getting this game just so I can buy all the Taiki no Tatsujin versions.

i always liked the parappa games and the um jammer lammy one too. i think this one should be just as much fun if not more fun since i get to hit a drum instead of press buttons.

the song that i heard that's in that i want to play the most is "the impression that i get"
I love the Bosstones.

I got the game and it is awesome. It's so much fun. Now all I need is another drum controller.

I really hope they put out more games in the series with more songs.

I think everyone should really give this game a try.
