Well for me it's pretty clear, there is no cockpit view in standard cars, but if we would want them, that is how it could be implemented since it's not modeled

Although Im not too worried about cockpit view I have always thought that a game having only certain features for certain cars and specific this and that as a cop out.

All cars should have the same level of interiors and all cars should have the same level of damage modelling. No other racing game out there has such silly issues.

I don't quite get what your saying but Forza has tons more Ferrari's than GT5 (that was are currently aware of) all with full interiors. They use the same licence so whats the issue?

Besides I don't expect any Ferrari to not have a full interior because they are new the the series and there are no ported models from GT4.

This is what he replied to (from me):

"Will "standard" cars have cockpit views (wheel, dash, driver etc)? Or is this only for premium cars? Thank you.:

Then he mentioned the black GTPSP interiors to which I said (and very confused):

"Sure. Thats fine by me. A full interior would be better but black is better than nothing."

Then I asked, to no reply:

"Just for all the folks at home (GT forums) "standard cars" will not have GT5p style interiors? Yes or no?"

and

"Could full GT5p "premium" interiors be added as DLC?"

So there you have it. While we did not get a clear answer its better than no communication at all.

The whole cockpit thing is unclear. We all lived without them in the past GT games. People are just freaking about it. We just need to simmer down, and be thankful that the game is finally coming out.

That's because it's a concept. Why would a company want their concept interior shown? And Some concepts don't even have interiors. That's nothing to worry about.

There is no cockpit view for about 800 cars. The reason is the existing cars that already had interiors, e.g. the GT5P cars, still had to be remodeled somewhat. e.g. The F40 needed the underside modeled, the engine details, the bonnet, etc. They are a lot more detailed than what we saw in GT5P. Not making an excuse for PD but that took a lot of work. My only hope is that they made the Ruf cars premium or I might cry just a little.
