yes. Taxi driver is Turkish as working in Germany. he told that event as Turkish on Turkish channels. He said: " he did drive fast and carefully. because he want to get to airplane quickly". Taxi driver did sit on Schumi's side ( middle seat of taxi on front ), and on the right Schumi's bodyguard, and backside Schumi's family.

In all seriousness, Michael Schumacher is a well-respected and controversial man alike, who is also very successful, so anybody would have motives to harm him. Even if not, he may be insecure, so he feels safe with one. Go figure.
