TCS in 2 player arcade

I wasn't able to find any info on this on previous posts:

Does anyone know how to turn on TCS in 2 player mode? I know how to turn it on in the options but the TCS still doesn't seem to work (the light never flashes when tcs should be kicking in). I know it's lame to use TCS (auto shifting as well, but I'm not letting that go!) but I like being able to just mash down on the accelerator at the start and gears 1-3 without spinning on my 700hp+ cars. I know I could get around this with throttle control or using a lower stage turbo etc... but there ARE options to turn on TCS in 2-player arcade mode... why doesn't it work?

TCS cant be activated in 2player mode, its probably something they have missed. or they had some problems to get it work and skipped it.

Apparently to activite it first you have to select a car from one of the manufacturers garages (ie go to Ford, select Ford GT, turn on TCM and ASM), then change your selection to one of the cars in your garage. I tried it and it works.

Yea, I noticed this when playing with my sister. I picked my SL500 from my garage and she choose a camaro SS from the manufacturers area. and she wasnt able to apply TCS when she selected the car, because I had a garage car. So we both had to use manufacturer cars even if just she wanted TCS. I'll have to try this method when I get home.
