Your thoughts between the two games?

One area where I think the original surpasses the sequel is in car selection. Far more interesting classic cars and more in the way of "A7" equivalent cars like the Saturn Sky, Chevy SSR, Audi A3 3.2, VW Golf R32, Alfa GT, etc.
Granted, quite a few are DLC but even with the non-DLC cars, I think the selection is more extensive and interesting i.e. Lamborghini, Maserati and a better selection of U.S. cars.

However, graphically the edge has to go to TDU2 imo and TDU2 has even more gimmicks like functioning indicators, car wash, photography missions, transport missions (taking people from one place to another but without a time limit), day/night cycles, etc.
Plus of course, two islands to explore rather than just the one. Finding wrecks is also a really fun idea. The controls do take getting used to and I think the first one had far more user-friendly handling.

Naturally, TDU2 has more in the way of the newest and most desirable supercars but that's more to do with when it was released than anything else.

I think that the only aspect where TDU beats TDU2 is the car selection. But that will probably change (DLC)

I miss the ability to adjust your seat up, down, forward, and back. That was an excellent feature in that game.

Once TDU2 works properly, it will be the better game overall. But right now, its very rough and has a long way to go.

The car list is good in TDU2 but I would have liked to see more in the way of A7/A6 equivalent cars. Too many are high-powered sub 5 seconds 0-60, 180+ mph beasts.
