This is what I was able to put together yesterday..nothing really spectacular:

T1: 42:657
Final: 1'33:249

I've been slower by T1 but keep hitting one or two rumble strips earlier than I'm wanting to and having my rythm thrown! :grumpy:

I'm sure most, if not all of you, are faster then this.

Cheers-

I went to Silverstone for the GP as well!!!

Really? What corner where you at? I was at the end of the hanger straight, it had one of the best views of the whole track. I was in the grandstand at the final corner in 2004, and it really wasnt the best.

I was on the main straight opposite BAR's pit garage. That was 2005.

How was everyones christmas then? And how will you be celebating new year?

Ashley.
I was on the main straight opposite BAR's pit garage. That was 2005.

I had a roving ticket in 2004 for friday/saturday, and i went to the main straight but you can't really see anything, if you go again i recommend you checkout the end of the hanger striaght, on the banking by the tv camera tower, i was just underneath that and i could see all the way up to the chicane, and them going through the Maggots/Becketts complex. I also saw Kimi overtake Michael AND Fernando:drool:

Well im having a bash round at my house with about 15 people for New years eve, probably getting really drunk as well :dopey: . Christmas was fine for me, despite the fact that my cat got run over on christmas eve :guilty: but it happens. I got Burnout Legends from my Girlfriend AND Grand Prix World (basically its like a football manager game, but for F1).

Oh i see you've become a premium member.... and changed your name 👍

Sounds good, i heard about grand prix world, any good?

Yes im premium:D Another member (Jon.) bought it for me for christmas!

Amen to the drunk, i am gonna get smahsed.

Its FANTASTIC, very hard to get to grips with, but it is so worth it. I'm currently with Minardi, i've taken them about 2 seconds off the back of the grid in 2 years :sly: . I have Mike Gasgoyne (same guy) as my cheif designer. If you want it, look on amazon for it, cause i got it for about £5. However, if you want to run it on XP then you need a patch.

Whats the premium like, i was considering getting it (when i get a job).
EDIT: Is that how you spell Gasgoyne? :dunce:

Prmeium is good, no adverts, 1000 pms can be stored, your name appears on forum leaders, you can change your username, and you get access to the premium forum:D.

When i get a job il also be continuing premium membership.

I was stood just before Maggots and Becketts, right near the camera crane. I t was great seeing the cars flash past at full throttle before flinging themselves into Maggots and Becketts.

Go about 4/5 of the way down the page. You need to unzip it into the folder where GPW is installed however or it wont work. 👍

I was there on the friday, me and my dad did a whole tour of the circuit before finding the best spot. I was right in front of Fisichella when he spun on friday at the First Corner. The view from The end of the hanger straight wss fantastic as well, i have loads of pictures if you'd like to see. :)

Hidey Ho Good Neighbors!
Happy 'be-lated' Christmas! ;-)

Glad to see everyone has enjoyed, for the most part that is, their gifts that Santa brought them....Seems like for the past year you have all been 'good'...and made his (Santa) list! :-)

For those who care (:D), Santa did NOT skip me this year as he has been known to do in the past!
This year, with a little help from his new 'elf' Chase (As in Chase Credit Card), Santa swung me a:

New 19inch Flat Panel Monitor....Seemed he realized I couldn't keep using my 2 year old CRT 21'inch w/out it making this ever so loud, yet just outside the human ear capacity 'humming' noise...I swear the dogs in my neighborhood could hear it though and that's why they would bark late at night while I was surfing on the net'! :-)

Santa was also gracious enough to adorn my wardrobe with one of those cool "Old Navy" Fleece sweaters! Yeah baby! Oh so warm!

Plus, Santa also threw in season 5 DVD of an american show called "West Wing"...which I enjoy watching when time permits on regular TV...as well as adding season 3 of the old TV show "Highlander", which I'm a big fan of and have been since the orig. movie came out...into my 'stocking' before he got his fat arse back into his sleigh...I should leave a note for him next year to at least wipe his feat when he comes through the front door..the fat bastard got mud all on my carpet and did he bother to leave a "benjamin" or two to cover the cleaning expense? NO! (Benjamin? Slang for a One-Hundred U.S. Dollar bill)

In any case, I'll stop babbling for now and please excuse this interruption of your standard night-time viewing pleasure! :D

Cheers!
