Hey guys, proud to announce that I'm finally making steady progress with my G27!!! (Only been like 6 months) :P
I've been using my R32 GTS-t and 180SX
on Suzuka East, so I can get use to using the wheel :)

And also, anyone know, if its normal for the G27 to make a weird rattling/ popping noise as you steer whilst drifting? Mine was doing it a lot when I was turning quick, but not as much when I held the steering wheel longer.. Not sure if its a problem or not :P

Ye I get this in some cars I found adjusting the toe can make it better what toe are you running. Do you mean the nocking when you move the wheel left and right.

I don't think I changed the toe from default. So I'm pretty sure it's still on 20. What would be a different/ better toe to try? It happens as I turn the wheel to keep the car sliding :)
 
Haven't experienced that at all HR32, Some good news, i should have some time to play GT5 these few weeks. I'm pretty rusty, so please don't rage at me for bumping you off the road LOL. See you tonight at 5PM AEST

@HR: One time my G27 had a kind of weird sound to it one day, like a clicking noise every 20 or 30 degrees of rotation but I haven't heard it since.
 
alright, ill try it tonight again. (drifting on g27) and try change the toe as reddee said and see how i go :) ill be on soon 10-20 minutes

I can't remember what toe I was running but it happened on my 300zx, I thought my wheel was broken it was that bad but when I adjusted the toe it stopped. I have asked other g27 users and they say the wheel does knock on some cars. If you want some one to practice the g27 with add MCR-smokey.

It does happen to me too, i don't really mind it. It's mostly feedback from the wheel loosing contact with the ground. You will feel it on rumble strips alot.

Alright, I'll try drifting with a few different cars, and ill be sure to add MCR-smokey 🔰🔰🔰

Also check out JR's Take upon Gran Turismo 6: Here's a snippet.
On GT5, you can buy a stock Z34, put some CH tyres on it and it drifts fine. It's quite a good drift car. On GT6, despite the SH tyres being all dodgey to drift with, the car feels similarly manoeuvrable. It handles well from what I feel, even though it feels greatly more different than the GT5 version.....

Really haven't felt like playing anything lately.

Actually been thinking about selling all of my Xbox and PS3 stuff.

And haven't actually got any work done to my dirty1 since I'm :censored:ing sick yet again.

So how is everyone anyway?👍
