Let me explain a bit about this program.

Server: 69.12.30.130:9057

Basically, TeamSpeak is a program that people can chat each other with a headsets/mic. I think it's the best idea to communicate until the official patch of GT5P. I've been using this program for a long time with great people from the forum. Currently, we have a DRIFT room which drifters can join in and drift with us. You can also create your own chatroom of whatever you like (races, events, etc.). GTP users could create their own GTP chatroom to have a nice and clean race. Online voice communication is very important for those who wants to race with each other because you need to connect everyone at the same time or else it won't work. Here's the instruction for those who want to use it.

INSTRUCTIONS
1. First of all, download the program. (Link: ftp://ftp.freenet.de/pub/4players/teamspeak.org/releases/ts2_client_rc2_2032.exe)
2. Install it.
3. Once you finish install it, open the program.
4. Now, make sure you plug your mic and then go to Setting> Sound Input/Output Settings. Choose whatever you feels like as your choice. (You could use Voice Activation which is a noise background or you could simply push a button to talk) and change your Local Test codec to 25.9 kbit for better quality)
5. Go to Setting> Options to put your Input/Output device of your microphone/headsets.
6. Last, go to Connection> Quick Connect. Server Address: 69.12.30.130:9057, choose your nickname(preferably your GTP name so we can tell who is each other). You do not need a login and password.
7. Once you join in, there are chatroom, so join up DRIFT if you want to drift or create your own races/events so people could join.

That's all. TeamSpeak is a good way of communication that prevents crashes and blacklist people. It also brings more fun that last longer.

Excellent idea, this is what alot of PC race sim guys use to communicate, and should make it easier to know when to push the start button of an online race

That it would, I know all my races will be over AIM, or telephone (just cause after 9 i can call who ever the hell wherever the hell i wan't... lol)

I tried this IP the other day and ran into a bunch of losers who had curse words and in their user name and didn't seem to be able to finish a sentence without laughing...I'll pass

It's full of echo and people who don't use push to talk and people who make pointless names like suck my 12 inch...

We are the regulars we are on even when we play other games or just chill, i mean we been doing this since Xlink GT4 days.... You can simply just make your own room and not have to listen to us, Ryosuke just posted this as a suggestion to have freinds organise events without calling, Aim-ing and all that Jazz

@ Jardim: Usernames like your friend's may be tolerable elsewhere, but we will not have sexually suggestive trash posted here. I've removed it from your post, since it's understood you're only quoting someone's username from elsewhere, but understand that should you repeat the posting of that username in full, you will receive an infraction for violating GT Planet's Acceptable Use Policy.

Also please consider spellchecking your posts before hitting the "submit" button. That last sentence is almost incomprehensible.

So pretty much, all the spam was done by regulars? ><
Although I didn't see Suzuki there, and I still remember bee_dizzle from GT4 xlink.

I've used my Xbox Live! access to do just that as well, even when playing on the PC, since the controller is wireless hehe :)

I don't stay on TS all day like others do. But I am on now, I was on last night, and will continue to get on every now and then.

I use TS all the time when racing on the PC. TS and Vent is definitely the way to go. It's too bad my computer is upstairs and my TV is downstairs. Guess I'll have to wait for in-game voice chat someday in the future.

I'll use TS from now on, I Have the program aswell as a name, I just have to find it on my HD... lol

I'll go log in now and see whats crackalakin'

EDIT: there's a password on the GT5P Section?

The password is DRIFT.

TS is the way to go alright.

As soon as I get my blasted G25, I'll be in on the chat.

;)

I'm going to have to give this a try, exciting the posibility of speaking with others GTP's.
Easier to press the start button of the race at the same time too...

I'm a Team Speak user months ago for other things, so I'll give a try to this GTPlanet Team Speak room then. Since I'm always getting the 60:04000000 error, I won't be able to use it for start the online race at the same, but would be good just to improve my english, talk with other GTPs from here and talk while racing or anything else. I'll join with "Aero-R", "GTP_Aero-R" or just "Aero" and excuse my english :)

I am using it right now. But it basically the same thing as Ventrilo.. I would prefer to use that program and the server Hamilton has provided. I find the atmosphere to be much more settling.
