Manual says: "Ranks higher than 1st Dan can only be gained in ranked matches in ONLINE MODE."

So I think it's impossible to get higher in arcade and ghost mode. Or am I wrong???


Yeah, nightmare train is realy hard.
 
By the sounds of what you just said you do need to play online to get a higher ranking.

i had the chanceto get tekken 6 but got star wars sith edition which only has 3 extra levels ( waste of money ) and supercar challenge ( which was ok )

anyway how is tekken 6? is it a good game
 
I'd say its a great game, very big when it comes to content and gameplay is excellent. Only small hiccup in whats otherwise a great game is load times as both offline and online it can be a while.
 
in all the other tekkens you have to complete the game with certain characters to unlock them is it the same with tekken 6 or have they changed it or a cheat to unlock them

Agreed. Especially disappointing when you consider it installs 4GB of game files onto the HDD.

@paliometoxo: all characters are unlocked by default in arcade/online modes. In Scenario campaign mode you unlock each character for that mode as you clear stages.

I finally got to play Tekken 6. It was fun. I enjoyed it sooo much more than Tekken 5. I might have chunk down some change and buy it.
 
Finally 100% trophies.

What annoyed me was "No key for me" mission where those soliders were shooting at you with guns repeatedly. I was like OMG WTF how is it possible to shoot at me so many times, I just stand up and damn fall down and again and again and again ...

Overall: Superb game, like every Tekken series.
 
This game annoys the hell out of me..I hate playing the campaign mode and I have to play it to unlock the goodies..

I bought it when it came out, played it for 4 days and then left it on the shelf, been playing a lot of Dragon Age lately, and there's no time for anything else.. :D
 
Choose right fighter with same constant moves. I use Kazuya and move: (if I stand on left side) [up + right] + O.

T6 is my favourite Tekken since 2, my favourite character has to be Jin/Devil Jin.
 
King's ISW is his air power bomb but its usually followed up by 2,f,2,f,2 or a uf+4,2,f,2 ISW

nk4e we MUST fight on T6 some time! Tekkens my 2nd favourite fighting series ever, only surpassed by Soul Calibur.
