I recently bought a shark card for GTA , but the credit card company has got it all wrong , accused me of fraud and I got " banned or temporarily suspended " I rung the up , they said I will be unbanned by getting an Amazon money code and sending the money to them via that , will my game progress be lost ???

Why would PSN want you to send Amazon money code. Sounds 100% like a scam. Have you tried to get on PSN since and have you got in touch with rockstar about it?

Are you unable to play the game or log into PSN?

If not, ignore this completely, or report them to the authorities for fraud.

Sounds like one of those spoofs
PSN will never ask for anything.
Amazon will never ask for anything.
3rd party who knows how to play you will ask for anything.

Like others said. If you can play, Play and ignore those fake money scammers that all want money.

This just reeks of a scam. Are you actually banned on PSN or did they just tell you that?

PSN said I was banned because the system thought i was frauding money because when i payed £32 for shark cards it cancelled my PSN yet I could still play so it assumed I was a hacker .

Phoned 'em up , getting it sorted now

Fair enough. The thing with the Amazon money code was just a red flag for me.

Fair enough, it still stinks though.

Make sure you get the phone number from the official website and not from any of the email/message chain.
