Wht about resurrecting all of this old favourites all in one venue? Impossible you say? Welk, I say DRIVING PARK!!! :)

Driving Park was a variety of GT4 circuits specially designed for tests all inside the same fictional "secret trackday" scenario. It included the Test Track (the high speed bowl mentioned by people here), a little "Gymkhana" space, and a little Tsukubesque track called "Motorland" in the infield.

My suggestions?

* Bring back the old Driving Park name and scenario.
* Make the inflield of Test Course be Complex String, from GT3.
* Stretch the Test Course enough to achieve absolutely max speed and to accomodate Complex String inside (the backstraight from Complex String could be the very own Test Course straight to save space and modelling).
* Change high speee mode as it was in GT4. Not a chance of running around one stright, a banking, and part or the other straight. Give us free roam but with a Max Speed meter recording the highest speed attained, like a chronometer in the HUD.
* Let "Gymkhana" be bigger, and combine it with the Track Editor to allow players to create fun circuits for karting, gymkhana, drifting, auto-cross, a skid-pad, or just fooling around with a car in an open space.

Boy, I should work at PD!.

They won't add anything, especially not VW's top secret test track.
I'd really want Driving Park back, also I'd really want Test Track back with Top 30 ranking for Top Speed, 400m, 1km - but I can only want, it won't happen.
If it happens I'll gladly eat my keyboard along with my remote.

id rather have the old school test course back than the VW one, that track could probably be very easily done up AND its been in the first four gran turismos..

Route 7 is useless for top speed runs, Mulsanne isn't smooth..period. This means we need Test Course. Doesn't have to be premium with weather etc, just plain old Test Course as it were in GT3 and GT4. Just to keep up with this day and age make the straights longer by another 2 km or so.

Wishful thinking isn't it? But with a bit of persuasion I think Polyphony might take this into consideration. Not saying Route 7 use completely and utterly useless altogether because it's fun for a bit of online fun and the tunnels make great Photomode locations, but yes, as I've said, we need a huge big Test Course.

Also we need the Machine Test feature back to go along with this.

yeah the Mulsanne is junk for top speed if the car is not stable, you dont need any more proof than a Lambo Murcielagos back end trying to bounce around front at 200 mph.. i dont even take this car to La Sarthe anymore

Me too. I hoped it would have had all the tracks from all the previous games.

+1 on the Complex String. Motorland would be a very nice track to have as well. But my words have no power, so I just gotta wait and see what they come up with.

Secret drag strip! Why wasn't I told about that!

I'd like to see the Fiat test track (the one on the roof of the factory) but a proper high speed test track would probably be better.

Fantastic idea. 👍

That. Is. Awesome.

Nope. It was Ehre-Lessien.

The Nurburgring is not the place for top speed testing.

The Nurburgring has nothing to do with Nuremburg, completely different parts of the country, though I have actually had this conversations with Germans(they were young though)

I realize that, but there doesn't appear to be a test course or track in Nuremberg. In fact, 'Nuremberg track' brings up the Nurburgring on Google, which is usually what people meant to say. I just figured he was just doing that too.

Hey guy's don't you think PD should put "again" a test track in Gran Turismo? This time a real one wich is in real life used for testing cars top speed?

I am talking about the VW Secret Test Track. The one who has a 9km straight. It's also the one where the McLaren F1 and the Bugatti Veyron did their speed records.

What do you think of PD add this track to the game?

IMO it would be awsome, also if they happen to put this track in the game, they sould make a seasonal event of it!

I'd rather they just port the Test Curse from GT4. That would be an easier job for them. I don't care what they do really, I miss testing a car's top speed, 400M and 1,000M. :grumpy: As long as they eventually give us some sort of Test Curse again, I'll be happy.

Can a test track not be created in the course maker?

No. :( If we could shape the track and bank it properly, then we could do this. But the way things are now, the track always winds up being too random for proper top speed testing.

PD won't make a track like that because T10 released the Benchmark/Sidewinder track for free on an xbox live token if you bought a new copy of FM3.

just type it in on youtube and you'll see T10 all ready beat PD to that...

And just my 2 cents: How about dynos engine swaps and a Mountain Track for drifting? LOL FM3 is almost perfect but if PD and T10 looked at each other and would elaborate on each others games and made it better then maybe people wouldn't complain.

P.S. PD has used the Treyarch effect and locked half the game until they want more money. (Pikes Peak and El Capitan Anyone? + the hidden tracks found on the official website?)

if test course were to be brought back, no more nascar in daytona for me. not to mention to try out the 2 car tandem, would be awsome imo.
