How the hell do I set my car up so it can match the speed of other cars on this race... I have an amazing car for all the other races yet whn I come to do the Test Course they always go faster then me!

Please Help!

If you got the power, many cars simply need a change in final drive ratios; usually 0.250-0.400 lower (numerically). I can't really say much more about gearing 'cuz it's all been said before elsewhere.

Also, downforce and ground clearance are not needed on this track; set both to minimum. That'll lower your drag and (slightly) reduce your frontal area, allowing you to knife through the air better.

as jervinator stated, the gearing is probably the most important adjustment you can make if you redline your last gear quickly.

If you have a full racing transmission, you can simply move the bar from "Sport" to "Wide" on the last adjustment found in the Transmission section.

Drafting has come into play for me when racing some of the Test Course races when my car just wasn't quite fast enough. Drafting the lead car the whole races and passing him at the finish line was the only way I could win.

p.s., not that you are, but if your using a F-1 on the test course, this could be your problem. There are a lot of cars that have better top speed than the F-1's.

Good Luck :)
