Hello all,

Just got back from Test Driving the 05 Lancer Ralliart Edition, and I must say I am quite impressed with what Mitsubishi has done. "Road huggingly" tight suspension, rev happy 162 hp engine, 5 speed short throw "stubby" leather wrapped shifter with baseball stitching, very precise...Great pedal movement & placement that is easy to heal / toe...plus all the niceties like 17" alloy rims, 4 wheel disc brakes, embroidered mats, "sights and sound" package that includes a premuim stereo, 8" sub in trunk, power sunroof, and the list goes on.

I was quoted $22'000 ish Canadian for the fully loaded model ready to go....decent performace, above average handling, EVO-esque styling, affordable pricing make this a great contender In my opinion. 👍

I'd rather add about $2000 to the pot and get a Neon SRT.

Anyone who would rather have a skateboard than a free new car is just retarded...or is too young to drive.

Or lives in a 24/7-gridlocked city 💡

But, I don't ride skateboards so my chioce would be a bike. BTW the Ralliart ain't that bad a car. Better than the Kia Accent :/

2 of my friends have a 2005 Ralli Art...A Black 5 speed...and a Yellow Automatic....Both of which are completely stock down to the airfilter....
It's not a bad car for the price.....handles quite well and has a nice ride....Good stock sound system, decent space in the back seat....an all around good car for the price.....AND it beats it's share of stock cars........It gets a good ratin from me.
and it doesn't sound 1/4 as bad as a stock SRT-4....More comfy ride too..

Agreed. Much, much faster car. I'd get a ralliart if it came with 4WD like a true rally inspired car should. Besides, then it would be a great placeholder for us poor Evo-deprived Canadians. We have to wait until the Evo IX comes out before we can buy one :(

This is somewhat offtopic...but...How do you alter the SRT-4 to where it doesn't sound like crap?

:odd: It sounds like any other hot hatch with a "fart can" on it. Want to change the sound? Buy a different exhaust.

I would buy one, its a fairly good looking car with good hp, but seeing as I'm 15 and I do ride a skateboard :) it wouldnt make much sense.

I don't like that front side airbags are standard on the wagon, but $1500 on the sedan. What the hell? Nice engine though - but spec doesn't quite do it for me. Why not get a Sentra 2.5S for $16800 and get more power and more stuff? Don't buy into the Lancer just because it's a "Ralliart" or of the same family as the Evolution - there's better cars out there.
