VW Toureg, RR Sport and Hummer H3.

Nice. I hope Jeeps, Dodge, Chevy and Ford trucks will also make it in. Maybe even Lambo's ol' LM002 SUV.

Sounds like a lot more variety in the vehicles.

And don't worry about Beta stuffs. Obviously the current Beta is an early version of the game. And, as people have said, if you find a problem, report it to Atari, not here, as that would technically violate the NDA.

From what the Show Builds and screens have shown, TDU2 looks at least AS GOOD as TDU1, if not better. And there's still a while before it comes out. In fact, GT5 SHOULD be out before hand and should tie you over until TDU2 comes out.

I'm looking forward to this one.

It's interesting that racing games are quickly becoming the largest games. GT5 is slated to be the largest game ever with 1000+ cars and 70 tracks. Fuel was the largest open world in a game with 5,560 square miles. TDU2 will come in a distant second with 3000km of roads in Ibiza alone. (Fuel is over 14,000 square kilometres.)

Will you be able to upgrade cars as well as buy new ones? If so this is going on the to buy list.

You will be able to tune cars in 3 stages like TDU1 I think, and there is also a livery editor. Not Forza standard but still quite good. It's definitely worth getting if you enjoyed TDU1.

EDIT: McLaren, you can add these to the car list:

-Audi R8 Spyder
-2011 Ford Mustang
-2006 Subaru Impreza STI
-Lotus Esprit S3
-VW Touareg
-Lotus Evora
-Ferrari California
-Ferrari Enzo
-Ferrari 612
-Ferrari 458
-Ferrari 430 Scuderia 16M
-Ferrari 430 Scuderia
-Ferrari 599 GTB
-Ferrari 599 GTO
-Audi S3
-Corvette C1
-Veyron 16.4
-Ferrari FXX
-Ferrari 308 GTS
-Hummer H3
-RR Sport HSE
-Nissan 370Z
-Jaguar XKR
-Audi R8 4.2
-Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale
-Aston Martin V12 Vantage
-Alfa Romeo MiTO

Never played tdu1

It's worth buying to get an idea what TDU2 will be like. Lots of people still play it every day, including me.

Your missing the Hummer H2. Man, I sure hope the H1 is in. I mean, if they include the fake, crappy Hummers, they should include the one and only REAL Hummer.

Seriously...the H1 was a civilian version of a military vehicle. The H2 and H3 have never seen combat, and it's probably a good thing, 'cause they really aren't designed to go off road.

I only put the H3 because it has been seen in videos. No H1 or H2 yet unfortunately, but if they get confirmed too then i'll post.

I see a what looks to be a new 5.0. The road revamping they did is excellent. Honolulu is going to be great to drive this time around.

I'll have to put a pre-order down on this, again...at Gamestop. I want that Spyker Aileron Spyder. :P

The Zonda's great, couldn't care less about the Bugatti, the Aston's alright, the Jag's cool...but...the Aileron.. not only is she very sexy, but this smokin' hot lady comes topless. :P

The trailer was sweet , not "Sweeeett", but the "short and sweet" kinda sweet... mainly because of the piano and orgasmic showroom visuals... but the gameplay graphics didn't look as good, and the turning look really really unrealistic

I was hoping they would announce european pre-order bonuses soon. :(

I just realized that the two cars won in the Casino from the GS pre-order have the same engine. Audi R8 Spyder has a 4.2L V8. And the Spyker C8 Aileron Spyder...has the same 4.2L V8 from Audi. And both are probably tuned and both are probably pretty equal performance-wise.

I was looking for a sub-forum to discuss the Test Drive series.
I was shocked to find this forum has boards for dozens of racing games in addition to the GT series, but they don't have a place for Test Drive.
There is a board for Grand Theft Auto (not a racing game, and barely a driving game)!
I had Test Drive Unlimited for my PC and I loved it.
I am excited for TDU2.
I own a PS3 now, so I'm trying to find out if I should buy the PS3 version or the PC version.
Which has better graphics, if any difference?
Do they use the same network (can you multi-play with people on PS3 and PC)?
I see on Amazon that the PC version is $10 less than the PS3 and Xbox versions, that's surprising.

Double Post fail.

Anyway, in other news, Kaz apparently wants to create a GT MMO type of thing according to the news page. I think a GT MMO would destroy Test Drive, but TDU2 will be a great game.

I'm excited for this game to come out in February! Finally it will be on the playstation as well. Even Kaz of PD mentioned a free roam mode for the future of GT. If its one thing I respect from the Atari/Eden team, it's gotta be TDU series. Finally a driving game that takes a new twist from your everyday arcade NFS, racing tracks, etc but a more casual and leisure game where you have much more freedom on doing a lot more things. It's almost like a virtual vacation get away almost. I would love to cruise online with my friends and explore the island and take in the breathtaking scenery. Maybe stop by a few places for a photoshoot as well. I'm glad that this game will be more than just focused around the car but more about the social aspect as well. I hear there will even be casino add on where you can play casino games and win prizes. I'm really glad they kept Hawaii and made it better. I love that place. Such a beautiful island. This is another highly anticipated title that I am eagerly looking forward to playing.

I also hope Polyphone Digital makes a free roam driving simulator MMO like TDU. Competition is always good, and I believed that PD would make an awesome one if they did this. Please do it Kaz!
