I don't know how this compares to the issue at hand, but I just did 1:03.50 in GT1 on DeepForest using the Castrol Supra. But this was on a test run. How are you guys measuring the times? First laps? Must be in races?

yo Schumy ! nice time man , i asked this before but no reply , are you also schumacher who win race 1 at monaco on the 9 boards comp
and theres no need to even doubt my times they are for real as always all saved on memory card , and have a guess whos getting a copy of my card in the next week or so ?? wity , along with my 1.09 second lap on tokyo in the r390 and my other fast laps will be verified on line

no, i'm not the schumacher you're talking about but i'm better.....i heard about you on midfield with the 787B going for the 55's and i'm working on my setup right now to smoke you......where the Denso at Deep Forest did not involve tuning, I could not put all of my skills to work so you beat me by 5 tenths which is quite a significant amount of time in my books.......i give credit to you if you really got that time b/c theoretically it is possible.....i simply could not put together a better lap than i did .....congrats to you bud but you'll probably have to persist a little more on midfield with the 787B

nice one man ! i look forward to racing against you , but smoke me ?? i dont think so !! but try away that 787b time was just finding my set-up the real times will follow
after a bit of setup changes and many runs I managed a 55.880 but I know i can do better because I've been ahead of my ghost by .5 but the excitement got the better of me which led to mistakes. I will improve this time.
nice to see people taking part i'm gonna have to improve my times coz you guy's are thrashing me !

get gt3 then we'll talk
From the sounds of it I haven't been playing anywhere near as long as some of you guys but I just did Deep Forest in the Denso Supra and got a 1:08.983. Not great and I can defintely improve but am slowly getting there!! That was also only after 5 laps....I know I can get faster. Just a question also, do you guys "left foot brake"?? Not sure if you know what I mean, but with the Dual Shock 2 you can press the accelerator down with the ball of your thumb and press the brake with the tip of your thumb.....I have noticed on some tracks that you do get a slight advantage. I do it a fair bit in my real car (especially as it's turbocharged...keeps the boost up) and used to do it when I raced my kart. Anybody else use it/do it??

in real life i left foot brake when driving automatic but with a standard i don't bother seeing as i'm not in a rally........in GT3 i sometimes find myself doing what you described b/c you can get on the brake or throttle faster but i find this practice just gives me a sore thumb faster
ok im going to race all of the tracks on gt2 and get my best times for all the tracks with TOMS SUPRA. you all should do the same and we will compare times. i dont think anyone can really prove the times that we put up so its up to trust i guess
I did a quick 5 laps last night but all i could pull out was a 1:09:433
with the Denso. I'm not used driving deepforest though, i just can't get that first lefthander right!
i did a 0:55:798 at midfield with the Mazda Monster B (fully tuned ofcourse)a while ago though I love midfield!
After about 25laps I did a 1:08.323 in the Toms Supra, i finally got the first lefthander right! FINALLYY!! I'm still shocked at the 1:07's you guys run though
ok guys i thought i'd have a few more runs on deep forest in the denso supra and after an hour of thumb throbbing pain i managed to pull of a 1.07.316 i still feel like this can be bettered and i'm gonna keep going back to it coz a 1.06.... is in my sights but this is my best for now ! I'LL BE BACK

Hey, whats with the taking over my thread ? Thanks anyway but i like to update the times myself seeing as i started the thread originally
And as for Mr P slaughtering everyones times, from what i've seen he's the best around here and he seems to enjoy showing us all how it's done . I use his times as a target and never seem to get anywhere near them! That 1'07.3.. is one hell of a quick time you got there Mr Persistance!
