Test Track/Proving Ground Limited Availability?

Hi guys, hope someone can help here, have finally got my Xbox (see my other recent thread) and have Forza 4 ordered, playing with the demo for now though. I was looking at the DLC in the Xbox Marketplace and was wondering why the Test Track/Proving Ground doesn't seem to be available, at least not in the UK?

I understand there was a redeem code for this, the Top Gear soccer field and the car pack including the Tesla with some initial copies, but the Soccer Field and Launch Pack seem to be available separately, but not the Test Track?

Luckily, some sellers on eBay sell the redemption coupons on their own, and the price seems OK, but it just seems odd, as nowadays all other bonus content, even the VIP pack, seems to be available on the Marketplace.

Oh another question that doesn't warrant being asked in a separate thread, if I get the VIP membership (mainly for the bonus cars) do I get any kinda backdated exclusive free content? I've a feeling VIP members got some exclusive cars in the past?
 
I'm sure the Test Track is available to be bought but I'm not too sure (I think someone said otherwise when I last said it was), maybe in the actual in-game marketplace? Sorry I can't help much on this one.

With the VIP membership you get the bonus cars, more storefront space, your auctions show up before non-VIPs and you can participate in VIP rival events. I think everything the VIPs have recieved in the past you still have the opportunity to get now by either running the VIP rivals event each month, beating the 'community bounty hunters', or posting in Johniwanna's threads on the official Forza site.
 
If you buy a new copy of the game, it comes with a redeem code that you punch in and with automatically start the download of the test track.
 
Thanks ZeKilla, yeah just found that out, though no indication of this on the box! So I guess all copies came with this (unlike the bonus launch cars, which i'll have to buy separately)
