After much deliberation, and no small amount of soul-searching, I have finally decided that after 31 years of living in the UK, I must leave and find somewhere else to live. Despite having a good job that I enjoy, and despite living in a vibrant and exciting city like London with an active social life, and family and friends dotted throughout the country, I can no longer justify living in a country that is responsible for this:-

...therefore, and with a heavy heart, I have decided to leave. :( I am now actively considering where to go instead... preferably somewhere that will not be affected by this hideous outbreak of Chicoism... I'm thinking maybe somewhere high in the Andes, or perhaps Alaska...? I don't know. All I know is that with this single coming out in the UK, with subsequent tour and endless TV and media coverage, my situation here is now untenable.

Oh, please no...

I wish he was voted out at the very beginning! Simon said that he had done the worst performance he had ever seen in his life at his first audition!

BBC News
He trained as a hairdresser and worked as an electrical engineer before joining exotic dance troupe Extreme Force

Did I read that right? Cause if so, i'm moving to the UK, where i'll train as a secretary and work as a top brain surgeon.

 Come to the U.S., where everything oversea's ignored! They are still "discovering" soccer and Formula One. :D j/k

Dude, we're so far behind, only 5% have a clue to what Rallying is really and that the rest of the world always wonders why we call Baseball the World Series.

 haha.

Oh my I posted in the Music forum :scared:.

You have to give him props for being an electrical engineer – that’s some tough s*** right there. As Dan once told me, “it’s all magic math”.

I heard an interview of his on the radio (Radio 1) and he was incredibly annoying. The "It's Chico Time" thing reeks of WWF wrestling and that's rather irritating. It's going to happen every year though until all of these 'talent' shows are stopped. A simple answer: Kill Simon Cowell.

And you didn't decide to leave when the Spice Girls came out?

If you want to avoid embarrassment for cultural follies, you ought to move to Russia. The only thing to come out of there is Tatu... but who cares what they sound like when they look so good in men's magazines?

And you didn't decide to leave when the Spice Girls came out?

 My friend liked them when they first came out. I never liked them but a brief time when I first got into d/ling music and regretted that.

No, nooooo... TMI.... you actually downloaded Spice Girls??? How perverse!

:grumpy: Hey, he bought the whole damn album. I only d/led (free) one or two even then I don't know where they are now.

Hmmm... posh married beckham, ginger became a UN Peace Ambassador, Sporty went lesbo, Baby started singing but then dropped off the face of the Earth... ditto for Scary. :) Don't ask me how I know. I didn't follow their careers... seriously.
