The type of DLC isn't promised or guaranteed. Spend the money and keep making more.

The FGT is way easier to drive than the Escudo. I only did Nurb with the Escudo, couldn't stand driving it, whereas the FGT actually becomes a pleasure to drive when it's detuned to 750pp. Easy wins on all circuits.

with a good tune the escudo is a blast, to me, but everybody's different, but for some reason I couldn't get th FGT down enough
 
Honestly, with the amount the seasonals are going for now...money really isnt an issue. I made that decision (minus the DLC reason) many times for all the 15mil+ cars. You make your money back quick. Buy whatever you want...if you race and dont acquire Cr., its kinda pointless and depressing. Now, when I reach 20mil, I spend down to 5mil and stop there...then build back up to 20mil with the cars I just bought.
