Absolutely. Audi built a completely new car with a completely new technology in about 200 days and won the race. This is an embarrassment for Pescarolo and the rest. He could as well quit.
What Pescarolo seems to forget: Diesel has the disadvantage of much more weight. So he should have built a car, that torched Audi in terms of lap time because of the better power-to-weight-ratio but he failed.

Yeah, but the R10 weighs less than the R8. Pescarolo doesn't have infinite funding like Audi. But I guess they should have been more prepared to take them on.
 
Hmm... After this amazing win, Audi must be feeling confident.

I can see their next project right now... "Audi R12: A Freakin' Diesel Hybrid?"
