Looks like i have a little catching up to do get onto to this before the dead line:trouble:

Just ran a clean T2 of 51.566, but the lap ended up about a tenth slower than my best clean lap so far.

All right, I did it, new clean T2 of 51.875 and probably the fastest second half I've ran yet, all on the same clean save. I think I'm done with this race. Time to take a shower and scrub off all the dirt.:D Good luck everyone.

I also had a suggestion for time submissions. Since there are people from several boards participating and some of us won't really know each other, maybe it would be nice to include some extra info in your time submission, such as which version of the game you have (PAL/NTSC), if you used AT or MT, and what kind of controller you used for the run (DS2, MOMO,etc). Then when Ron posts the results we can all see the info alongside the times. Just a thought I had, maybe some others would like to see this too?

New best 52.0 clean , but still a bit on the sloppy side :irked: Just need to tighten it up a little and i should get a half decient lap in..

Ok guys just short of 48 hours left until Deadline , try not to be late ;)

3 times recieved so far ...

CarbonFiber Man
Arwin
Red Eye Racer

RER actually went on holiday a few hours after race 1 was announced and he ran a few laps straight away so as to avoid the 50points DNF .... wise man ;) so understandably as he's gone for 2 weeks his 1st 2 rounds will be affected :(

I know he will quickly climb back up the leaderboard when he gets a chance to play 👍

8 Times recieved so far ....

Red Eye Racer
Carbon Fibre Man
Arwin
Tommy
Andywitz
Gpardo
Mr P
GT3mich

Still haven't decided if I want to use this car on this course though. If I can run close to this in another car, I might save this car for a later race.

Just ran 51.428, in another car. The originally mentioned car is staying in the garage. :D

Well i have only had two days of this race and i think i got some good sectors for me:D

T2/51.8
T3/1.21.663:D

Not given up with this race yet:trouble:

That's pretty good going there Wez !! 👍

I got a new best myself last night ...my sector is .1 slower and my lap is .1 faster :D

looks like i've found a car that kind of sucks speedwise but corners very well. think i'll use it here and save the big guns for the later races (although a sub 52 split at t2 will be nothing short of a miricle).

Good luck Hunterkiller 👍

only 30 hours to deadline now , dont be late please :)

doing poorly, need advice.

tight cornering and stay in low gears on exit  but then again could be any car :D

just get your best time and stay clean man ;) 👍

i mean lucky to get a 52.799 slow.

Dont worry about the T2 thats before halfway on the track and lots can be made in the last section

Be happy with your efforts mate , we can only but try 👍

i'll try to send a time, but i've also got another series i'm doing, had to skip a round of it.

different deadlines, fortunately. i just wish the gtf wasn't down

I'm quite a ways behind that.
However, I am in a slower car with a loose nut behind the wheel.
I am running the back half faster and have managed to cut 2+ seconds off of my best time.
Also, I'm following the same strategy as HunterKiller. I've already figured out the cars I'm going to use in the first three races based on HP and TQ figures.
Hopefully, my times will reflect that as wisdom...

*Edit*
MR P. Having issues with my E-mail. tried to send under my wife's.
Hope you recieved sames.

As long as you don't hit the walls. :D

I've submitted my time including all Splits to Mr P.
I am pretty much done here..(though I wish I was a few tenths faster) I'm not running this car for another few hours to improve a tenth of my total best lap time.
Cant wait 'till the next track is announced! :)

O speedy one,
It has been done.
*bows deeply*

Mr P,

Which sector splits should we post? The ones given while running the lap (the same as the ones seen while watching the replay from within Free Run), or the ones given while watching the replay in the Replay Theater? As I'm sure you are aware, they aren't identical.

And because I knew it was possible if I kept at it: T2 = 50.987. :D (That's the T2 shown while running the lap).

On this run, my indicated speed (in the Analyzer graph) dropped to an astonishingly low 8.7 mph in the hairpin immediately following T1.

Which proves that sometimes, you have to go slower to go faster.

Anyway, oh cursed man that I am, I doubt I'll be able to get a time in, I'd explain why, but it's lengthy and personal. If I send one, it'll stink. Btw, as far as advice goes, i mean everything from angles to brake points to steering input.
