This is gonna be a tough one! :banghead:
 
Okay, I get to drive a nicer car this week. ;)

After a few get-acquainted races, I got this one, which is not too bad:

First lap
T1: 23.248
T2: 48.962
T3: 1'07.895

Second lap
T1: 18.992
T2: 44.794
T3: 1'03.997

I left a few tenths laying out there in the dirt; time to go find them. :D
 
Ran a few laps tonight.

T2's - 48.593/44.834

Still some more gains to be made.:)
 
Best save so far has

1.07.3 / 1.03.3 T3's :p

Done some free run ... T2: 44.3 ... T3: a fraction slower than Mr.P. :P

Thanks Ron! :P ... Your T3 is awesome, but I've figured out where I'm leaving time, managed a run in which at least the first lap was right, nicely on par with jbrennens sectors (thanks for the targets mate :tup )

I'm now within 1 sec of what I estimate would be an acceptable time for this car :p (for me :lol )

Edit: saw a T2 on first lap of 48.7 but screwed it up. No worries, it's still early days. :) Managed to improve my overall time by 0.3, still about 0.7-0.8 to go to my estimated final time :P

Ditto.

I don't like the track, too dark and I always mess up the turn before T2. Best T2 was 46.4 on the second lap . :mad:

did some more laps in free run T2 45.3 T3 1'04.7
Never really liked this track, and I have not run many laps there in the past (not even 20 laps i think) :O so it's gonna be a long week for me.
 
Right know I'm .5 seconds behind Mr p. Still have alot of time left.
I have one question. How many Subarus are available?
 
You can only choose the Subaru Prototype ;)

Thanks, it's just that I like racing these tracks, it's very smooth and relaxing, strangely enough. :D

Today didn't go as well - I never saw that 48.7 again I saw yesterday, probably because I tried driving another car, just for fun :D. Still somehow managed to improve a whole tenth in my whole race ... woo-hoo. :rolleyes:

Those T3s are insane - you must be driving a different car :D
 
I think i know what your driving :D good car up until after T2 then it goes sloppy:p
 
You probably guessed right :D I now have a save with a 48.9 and a 44.3 that's a 0.5 improvement overall on my time so far, so I'm pretty happy with what I have. Maybe take the rest of the week off and practice on the Maze, I think I should find a lot more time there than the 0.4 seconds I can theoretically still win on this track :D

EDIT: cool, I've been experimenting with another car and it's a good match for the one I've been running. I have a 49.0 / 44.5 time with this car and more is possible I feel once I got the shifting spots down to a little more perfection :D.

Got to submit my results early this week, going away for a few days, heres the sectors:

T1: 23.173
T2: 49.066
T3: 1'08.188

T1: 19.170
T2: 44.958
T3: 1'04.166
 
You guys are killin' me.

I dropped 6 seconds off my overall time.
My best T2 is 46.8, Then I come here and find I'm still 2 seconds off he pace. :irked:

I'm having trouble with gearing and race line. The course isn't very fun either. I've only managed 1:05.7XX in free run practice. The first 2 turns are a pain.
 
Talentless, Do you need a replay to check out for driving line?

submitted a run with a 48.7 / 44.3 ... I had a better run in another car (48.3), but this is very near to the maximum I can see for this particular car whereas the other run still has a lot of room for improvement, so I'll stick with this one and hope that car is of some more use elsewhere as well. :D
