It has to be a reference to the Ulysses 1994XF04 asteroids and Stonehenge.

AC6 story also invoked the asteroid, so yeah, there is strangereal to be expected.

Oh my, i just love ace combat. I was introduced to ac4 back when i was a little kid.
I just cant wait to when this comes out. I hope its not like AC:AH though. I hope this is in strangeworld.

Going from the Su-37 to the F-4 in AC4, I thought I was flying a truck. :p

The F-14 is great midway through the game though.
 
I really hope this new game isn't the same style as Assault Horizon, the fact it's gonna be back in strangereal is a good start :D.
I also hope it features an interesting new 'super-fighter' to rival the likes of the FALKEN and the X-02 etc.
 
Current one says "Ridgeback One. Edge, report." Looks promising.. Last AC I played was Zero.. I wouldn't mind a PS3 title.

I don't think so. The guesswork we have now is that the 'streaks' are part of the Ulysses Asteroid that were critical in the events of Ace Combat 04 and remained a part of the 'strangereal' world.

I really hope this game follows up from AC5, as it was the only AC game I played, and it was absolutely brilliant.

How about playing as Grimm, the trainee pilot who took off and joined the dogfight in the mission where you protect your airbase from Yuktobonian air attacks? That would be pretty neat. 👍

A sequel would be interesting...I don't know if that's what it's looking like.

If you haven't played others, I would highly recommend Zero. It's quite a good and underrated game.

As a bit of Trivia....a Kei Nagase appears in AC2, AC3 (as a cameo, and might not be the same), AC04 (as a civilian pilot), and ACAH (makes a cameo in the background).
 
I was an incredibly huge fan until Ace06 became a 360 exclusive. Assault Horizon was horrid and I've been waiting on a real Ace Combat since then. Damn it, give me Ace05 with proper PS4 graphics and online, would be enough already. Or a remake of Electrosphere (Japanese version).

Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War is still one of my all time favorite games. Great story, with a memorable soundtrack. Also great selection of planes and missions. Ace Combat 6 was just bad. Gameplay and graphics was fine, but the story was crap and so was the plane and mission selection. Horizon is hardly even an Ace Combat game. It's utter trash. Literally nothing good can be said about that piece of 🤬.

i think I'm the only person that preferred AC4's story and AC0's gameplay over AC5.

I loved Chopper for his shaningans and Snow for his veteran experience and Bartlett for his no-nonsense ace mentality. Grimm I absolutely loved because for some reason his AI always bailed me out when I'm getting chased by two or three planes. I think he was the smartest of the wingmen.

Edge was ok, but she did get overbearing with peace this and peace that. I'm sure any fighter pilot in a war would desire peace but at the same time I'm sure they're more worried about surviving war so they can see it.

But by far Solo Wing Pixy was the best wingman in my history of gaming.
 
Solo wing pixy ruled. Did anybody else feel kinda sad as they downed the yellow 4 over Stonehenge? Also in the same mission idk if it was just me looking to far into to things but, were any of you able to pick yellow 4 out cause her plane wasn't combat ready? Cause one of the yellow's was always easy to bag.
