Took this online at Le Mans in a classic car room and had an amazing time against big Corvette's and Camaro's. One of the best Premium's on GT5 for me. Also looks amazing, and a brilliant engine sound.

What do you guys thnk?
 
Performance wise yes, but the Alfa handles like an NSX!
 
The TZ2 is a dream to drive!
 
It's such a great little car, I really ought to drive it more often.
 
I love this car! Especially the view from the cockpit. Beautiful car all around.

YES! Handling is superlative, sound is sexy, overall performance is astonishing.

I love it, too. It's such a shame that there aren't more classics like this in the game.

Can't agree with you more. It handles perfectly and it's got a really good sound. So easy to drive and comfort yourself with.

On-topic, i agree, the car's sound and handling abilities make it a dream drive. It has become one of my favourites of the GT series.

I used it for the world classic car races in the seasonal events and loved it. One of my favorite cars. Amazing how they could get that kind of sound and horsepower from a 1.6 liter engine.
 
One of the real joys of the GT series is how unique and special certain cars feel. For me this is certainly one of those cars.

But they all sound the same and tons doesn't have cockpit, so there a lot not to 'feel'

favourite car in GT5, most fun to drive and it does sound unique. tbh really surprised that PD included this classic - only 12 built and designed by Zagato.
 
Really good handling car, and it's probably the best looking in the game. Only thing that puzzles me is there is a white cone shaped object on the left window (look in cockpit view). What is this for, ventilation?
 
One of my favs! I have to admit I did put the stage 3 turbo on it (it needs the extra juice) and took the race tires off and put on sport soft in the front and sport medium on the back. Very fun to drive, can do the ring in just under 8 minutes.

But guys, there's one downfall to this car. When online the shifter (Right of the steering wheel) is missing? :confused: So you end up with a hand floating in the air imagining yor driving a manual car.

I got a 1.19 on Top Gear Test Track with it, STOCK.

Sort of agree, but I might paint it Alfa Red so that it matches all my other Alfa's (slight ocd?)

I thought it disappeared too, but in my experience it is there, it just seems to blend into the dash. Look carefully when shifting and you should be able to make out the edge of it, especially if the sun is behind the car.

I'm a little confused by some posts about the colour, mine is red? The one in the dealership is and so was the one I won, and so is the "real" one that won the Pebble Beach award.

Speaking of which, one of the main reasons this relatively obscure car is in the game is because it won a GT-related award at the Pebble Beach Concourse D'Elegance (or whatever it's called) in 2009. GT5 (and I think some of the previous games) features some winners of this award, as well as the SEMA award which seems to be for tuners (see the Mustang Trans-Cammer and Art Morrison 'vette among others)

If you check the "master car list" in these forums you will see the 2010 winners are included, but neither are actually in the game (yet)

Whatever.. only one 'Zagato' Alfa in GT5 .. until we get the TZ3.

The name of the car is Alfa Romeo GIULIA TZ2 carrozzata da ZAGATO CN.AR750106, and It's the only Zagato car in GT5, so I guess is okay to call it like that.

Also, this car is brilliant. Great handling, great looks, great sound. Could be faster.

On-Topic: I love the car, it's gorgeous. Now if they could put 17 Mile Drive (Pebble Beach) into the game as a driving park or Photomode locale... :drool:
