Thx killer and ace for the practice and help last night. Im still about a half second off the pace. Ill get it figured out eventually.
 
Sass, is that at GVE-R or some other track? If ace is running low 1.01s, I am almost a half second off too. Need to tweak my tune a bit, the car just isn't doing what I want it to. Need to work a bit more on consistency too...especially in the left hander after the tunnel. That concrete patch can be icey.
 
We were practicing at Indy last night. I gave killer my setup and we were both able to do 48.8s fairly early in the run. I know on GVE-R me and killer are both running low 1:01s. We did some running on Motegi too and I managed to hit a 32.9. I think the only track we really have left to test is Daytona, but who does that other than Bowtie. :lol:
 
Sounds about right for Indy and Motegi. I ran with Rap for a short bit the other night and had a 48.8 in 2nd or 3rd lap. Motegi time sounds about right. If I remember correctly I could get 32.8s in practice, but missed it in qualifying. I think we are setting up for our most competitive season yet. I think the teams and sharing of setups between the teams will just add to the drivers capable of running up front on a consistent basis.
 
Here you go track I just ran a 1:00.789 at grand valley. Ace now has the setup lol
 
Hello everyone. Do you guys typically practice together? I haven't done much NASCAR racing so I have a lot of setup work to do.

Ran some practice at motegi with killerclown last night. My best was a 33.084 but most of my laps were high 33.1s or low 33.2s.
 
Are we doing like a Budweiser Shootout before the first week? Just out of curiosity
 
Not a bad idea Rap. Like an informal-formal race to try and get as many competitors together as a good test session.
 
As a rookie I like that idea, it would give me a chance to become familiar with the way these races are run before the first round.
 
If enough of us are on tonight im up for a 20-30 laps Daytona race with the GASS rules and race procedures.
 
I also like the idea of trying a Shootout race this evening.
(Killer we need to get a Daytona setup ASAP.)
 
I should be able to make it tonight. Was hoping to get on around 8est and if enough is happening, stay on for a couple of hours. The only other plans are to catch the first supercross race of the season, but I can record that.
