Ya MTD gave me all the MTD, AMP, and the Nasional Guard a Ride In a F18. How could I not sign up.

Press release: Just signed with the JGR 2010 Home Depot #20 team. Considered many options, but the things that put it over the edge were the number (another favorite and my birth date) and HD being a favorite store for my other hobby, wooden toy building (amongst way too many house projects). Very tough line up indeed on the Toyotas. I'm surprised I have not received an offer to drive one of the fords next season, but all well. I do know that the 24 team wants me back even though we went winless.

Bowtie, would you let me and James drive maybe the same car. For example. I would drive the 2010 Stewart car and he would drive the 2011. Would you consider letting us do that?
 
Hey, the "I can't drive 55" was a Sammy Hagar song that preceded his inclusion into Van Halen replacing David Lee Roth as vocalist. Rap, how do you know of Skid Row? Skid Row was little more than one album wonder when I was in the seventh grade. And yeah I got an A for my 7th grade drama class final: performing Skid Rows' 18 & life. I was the only kid not to do a New Kids on the Block or Paula Abdul song.
 
Honestly I listen to just about any kind of music. My life is centered around music. I love all music (other then pop, rap, ect.) When i play PS3 i always have the radio turned on to a local rock station. Rock is probably my most listened to genre. I know probably more music then most kids my age. I dont like todays "music" because the artist have no musical talent. Justin Biber is the only artist of that genre i have any respect for. He plays the drums, other then that he is the biggest ass wipe i have ever seen. Im starting to get pissed at todays rock music too. Im a HUGE Nickelback fan (please dont hate) and they are becoming to mainstream. I also LOVE Linkin Park, their old music was absolutely amazing and there new music is good but not amazing. Anyway, angry i know only 1 song from Skidrow. But i know a few from Van Halen Track (dad likes them) A crazy story, so me and a friend were talking about music at school. I asked if he knew Pink Floyd... He said no.. I have no hope for rock anymore, if a kid in 8th grade dosen't know Pink Floyd... Just.... I cant believe it. Bands/artist I like... Hinder, Papa Roach, Five Finger Death Punch, Faith No More, P.O.D., Skillet,Staind, Seether, Nickelback, Linkin Park, Breaking Benjamin, Theory If A Deadman, My Darkest Days, Three Days Grace, Shinedown, Buckcherry, Bush, Metallica, Pink Floyd, Guns N' roses, Jason Aldean, Brad Paisley, Dierks Bently, Garth Brooks, Toby Keith, Eminem (major respect considering what he has went through) Basically heres my pot of music...
Stir Nickelback and Linkin Park
Add a slice of Hinder and Papa Roach
Sprinkle a tiny bit of dubstep
Ad a dash of Eminem
Mix together Pink floyd and Metallica
Pour them in with a drop of Brad Paisley
Add a cup of Lit Up and Crazy Bitch (Buckcherry)
And pour it into a dish
Serve it with a side of 5 finger Death Punch
And another side with Screamo/ punk
Then you got my meal of music :lol: i know this post was long but im bored and its Friday
 
I like you a bit more than I did before based on your music selection. About the only thing I think you were missing were old Metallica and Megadeth. Have to agree with Angry though, Maiden has some pretty cool songs too.

Bow, we better start talking about the new season before the topic of underwear comes up.

I've been wanting to do teams for awhile, but just son't know if we'd have enough people to make it worth while.. If so me and James have the RPM cars :lol: and were team Young Guns :)
 
I've been keeping my good eye on you boys this whole time. I apologize for not finishing season one. The combination of holiday busyness and my lack of talent/setup for Motegi and Indy was the culprit. My plan to make the final Daytona race were derailed by and unplanned psychedelic journey through the cosmos.

The conversation on this board has taken an interesting turn directly into my wheelhouse. Music. I played guitar for 12 years, 8 of which were with 2 bands. Being a musician, I'm extremely particular about what I will listen to. A musical bigot if you will. I have nearly 200 gigs of music on my computer so my musical palate is wide. Top 5 bands of all time for me are: The Beatles, Tool, Radiohead, Deftones, and Pearl Jam. It is impossible to put into words my relationship with these bands. All I can say is that its been a long time. After being raised on jazz and James Gang (Joe Walsh is the best) and as a teenager listening to the Big 4 (Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Anthrax)(I'm gonna throw Testament in there too cause they're awesome) which melted into Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Nirvana, Melvins, Mudhoney, I can tell you that metal always wins. To the layman metal probably all sounds the same. Some of it is. But some of it is just as layered and textured as good jazz or the Beatles. It just happens to be trying to melt your brain. Someone mentioned Megadeth, Rust In Peace is probably the best traditional metal album of all time. In my opinion. Gives me goosebumps just mentioning it. Tool got me into progressive metal and now I cant stop listening to Mastodon and Gojira. If you love metal, you've got to give these bands a chance to enter your life. Not radio friendly, very heavy. Type "L'enfant sauvage" into youtube and tell me what you think. If you dont like metal, do not do this, you could end up vomiting. Quick run down of my most recent downloads: Gojira, Lamb Of God, King Animal (Soundgarden), House Of Gold And Bones (Stonesour), Rize Of The Fenix (Tenacious D), and The Civil Wars. See, not all metal. Anyway I've gone on long enough. This was all in response to someone saying that Van Halen sang "I cant drive 55". Wow. Someone made the correction for me before I had a chance to. Thank you.

Rap, you got a good attitude for a 14 year old kid. I obviously missed all the Daytona drama but I think you a good kid. It felt good to be mentioned along with a song but I'm going to have to look that one up cause I've never heard it. Ok...I have looked it up. Uhh, dirty. Hot but dirty. I like the dudes in my bands to not be wearing makeup and leather trench coats. And yes, that's an 8 string guitar. I wanna watch the world explode from underneath your glow. Boom.

Haaahaaa thanks Sass. Im a percussionist myself and have been playing set for roughly 3 years now. I have just purchased a double bass pedal and im starting to become half decent with it. I have no hate for metal.Anything beats most of todays "music" Nirvana made some damn good songs and Metallica had a few i like. Im not a big fan of covers of other songs... But Metallica's cover of Bob Seger's song is easily in the to 20 o my all time Fav. Songs. Nickelback's cover of Saturady Nights Alright ( For Fighting) is freakin awesome too. But yeah im HUGE into music, I usually listen to music about ~4 hours a day.. No lie. I even bought a $250 pair of headphones :lol: maybe sometime this weekend we all can hook up and talk about music :lol: and im not a fan of AC/DC because all the songs sound the same. Highway To Hell is great though :) but yeah never knew you guys were big into music.
Edit: oh and im not big into jazz but my grandfather taught Ciris Chestnut to play piano. Ciris was going to quit but my G-pa kept him motivate today and in some of his albums he thanks my g-pa. If you guys even know who Chestnut is :lol:
