I was just asking myself, this is a good site for gt4 but do you spend more time behind gt4 or behind this site. :odd:.

I usualy go playing gt4 right after school, unless my stinking brother is already playing. then I just go on this site to see what peaple have to say you know.

And just be honest don't say you also have a life becouse you don't if you have gt4. Its just so attractive, you can't go, you'll have to play it. :sly:.

The only problem is that you also have to do some things that you'll have to do. Like buying food.

Don't be shy just reply :dopey:

Last 5 weeks: no time spent playing GT4 at all. Time spent here - too many - about 1-2hrs a day. But then thats cos I am still at University, and my beloved copy of GT4 is at home. And there are 100miles inbetween. :grumpy:

oh well - 1 week left!! cant complain too much.

I haven't played GT4 that much lately, I'm at about 80% now and none of the races left really are interesting to me. I probably need another game right now, and after finishing that get back at GT4. I like the game, but the 2 months after I bought it I probably played it too much non stop.

So it means you'll have nothing else to do, other then university and this site.

btw, is that car on your avator also in gt4?

I do 1 hour/day in average. Usually 30 mins in the morning before going to the gym (while I am still waking up) and 30 mins at night right after work. Weekends is a lot more but I also don't play every day, more like two days on one day off.

I come to this site about 20 minutes/day unless I am starting a new thread (usually a write up) which takes longer...

Probably a wise decision... I had to uninstall Civ 3 from my computer when I got to my Finals...

When I first got GT4, I was on it like crabs on a hooker. Like 6 hours a day, but than the girlfriend started complaining about never seein her, so I had to put the controller down, and start goin over to her house more.
Still needing my GT4 fix, I started comin on here whenever I was at her house. Decided to keep the PS2 at my house so I didn't hear any complaints, or have her sabotage my game so i'd stop playing the game. :)

when it came out, i was putting in about 5 hours a day if i could [full time work and language classes take out most of my time] for about 2 weeks.
then i got bored. new physics were cool, but after some time, it is not much different to gt3 which i finished almost twice. i went for 100% completion but after doing some of those incredibly boring manufacturers cups, i gave up. im on 60 something percent and wont be going much further i reckon.
then i had an idea to build up a garage of cars i like, tuned, tested and stuff. got to 54 cars and left it.
in last month i maybe played gt4 2 or 3 hours in total, with my friends.

and gtplanet? started in gt4 section, but now i barely even look here now. there is many other interesting sections in this forums, and what is most important for me, interesting people.
i spent at least 2 hours a day on gtplanet [from work, have my own office]. mostly reading, sometimes i post. my dormant brain finally woke up after long period of auto-pilot and i enjoy this. i actually recommend to everyone who likes to think visiting other parts of these boards. well worth it.

and about being honest and having life. believe it or not, people who finished schools, do have life 'to attend' to. im not going to persuade you that it is a fact, i will just tell you to wait, when you are a bit older you will understand.

I DO have life, I go to work where I am payed very high...I don't go to school any more but I enjoy GT4 because I am a CAR FANATIC AND AM CAR-AZY about fast sports cars...
I work as an Air Monitoring Technician for LyonDell, a Chemical Related Company and own a C6 Corvette :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:drool:
I do not wish to state my name, age, or any other info of that area
But other than that, I have 100% complete on GT4 and I pretty much played a little bit everyday...
I usaully check this site to see "what other GT4 enthusiasts have to say" about this game
This IS A VERY GOOD site and it holds alot of answers :D
I also like GT b/c it SIMULATES racing...Maybe not ALL THE WAY...but its pretty darn close
I dont like the fake games like Need4Speed and all that frget those
GRAN TURISMO ROCKS!!

oke all of my questions are away.

I thought that this game was so populair everyone had to play it every day. but it seems its not like that at all :)

and all of you seem to have a job, and must be a adult. but do you realt spend time behind a playstation. my god I thought there were only some jong people here.

I don't get it if you have a real car, why play gt4.

The car in my avatar, the Dauer-Porsche 962 road car, does not sadly feature in GT4. Hell I wish it was - that would do insane lap times around the Nordschleife.

And yes, in terms of GT4, at the moment this site is all i get. University takes up a LOT of my time - 25-30hrs of lectures a week, plus stuff ontop. Not to mention the exams im doing at the moment :scared:

GT4 isn't the best game anymore and the fact that I have to use my DF now whenever I play a car game makes it harder for me to want to play now although the Photomode is where I'd kill the most time with it. Back when I first got GT4 I was so hooked that I was trying to scheme a way to play GT4 portably via my laptop and T.v. tuner card at work and school.

:dopey: I'm at work right now and it's on but I haven't been playing much. Too bad there wasn't a "discreet" compact wheel. :indiff:

My girlfriend claims I spend more time with my PS2 than I do with her! Dunno where she gets that from. :sly:

Hi, what is currently your favourite game if I may ask? Have you tried Enthusia already? I quickly tested Forza on a friends Xbox, and I was not impressed with the graphics, though it has other good features (tyre marks to name just one)...

Back to question: i played about 2,5 - 3 hours every day the first 2 months...now reduced it to 1 hours ( as its unfair to my wife). I mainly play a few manufacureres races in order to complete the 100% (at mom: 85%), and I always have at least 2 runs at the Ring..........

Pssft... 🤬 Enthusia... what a 🤬 joke. Forza... well I'm not expecting much let's put it that way. GTR is my fave but I can't play it because my 🤬 laptop is too 🤬 obsolete.

I just play @ weekends, i'm Military in Portuguese Navy, i pass the week in about 70km from home......during the week i call for my sister to put the game rolling on 24h nurb.....already have 4 F1's lol

Hahaha, that's hilarious. "Hey, could you start my car back on that one race again? Thanks. Also, could you make sure my laundry's done?" I wish I had someone to start races for me! ...not that I'd trust them...

Same, except i've been using Forza to fill the void :)

Yeah, Forza has my attention now, too. I haven't played GT4 in at least a month, but I've only had Forza for 2 days. :p THere must be something else...

I usually get about 4-6 hours a month, tops. In April I didn't get to play at all, and I just played for the first time in May for about an hour.

I've played maybe an hour or two this month. I have no time, with school and my job, and then racing and working on my cars (In real life) during the weekends.

So yeah...

I spend a bit more time here though :p

Yeah, I have a car. An 18-year-old Buick with bad shocks. And I can't exactly drive it on the edge, since the cops don't buy the "I was going for a new lap record!" excuse, for some strange reason, so it's a little hard to get that Gran Turismo experience. (Although I will admit the other drivers around here are pretty identical to the GT AI, in that they completely ignore your presence until you push them off the side of the road... :D )

And hey, just because I'm an adult and have a job doesn't mean I have to have a life, ya know... :D

0 min / week... game got boring as hell, thank you aspecpoints.... :banghead:

Forza is pretty fun, I'd give it a tie with GT4. Though the style of the game for both is not very similar. GT4 looks like it's based off 2d/Flat textures in the background, while Forza uses 3D looking figures, they both look pretty nice, though GT4 looks way nicer.

They are both sim racing games obviously but they have many differences in gameplay and style of gameplay.

After the ****ty games I've experienced in the last few days it's gonna shoot up hella fast now!

Ahh... just holding a DS2 controller feels so good now.

i recon i probably spend about 3+ hours a day on GT4. Sad eh, NOPE! :) i browse on here whenever i get a moment .

about 30 to 45 mins per day and depending on what's happening at the weekend's anything from 20 mins to 7 hours (like I managed yesterday)

it varies !!
