Many of us attending cars PP or maybe HP values for select before driving it and unfortunately in game there is no filter about engine capacities of cars. So I explored best known 2.0 L cars and check technical details of some cars that I don't know their cc values. Eventually I bought several 2 litre cars and test some of them on Special Stage 7 track. I drive each of em only 1 lap time-trial and save my ghost after that lap. Then select another 2 litre car and make a race with my ghost which has best time on this track. Sometimes stunning results may be encountered, for instance 224 hp Renault Megane RS is about 10 second slower than 200 hp VW Golf V GTI because of gear ratios.

I have so many 2 litre cars waiting me to drive and did you do something like that? On your opinion what's the best 2 litre engine car for make a test like this?

I feel a more circuit based track like Laguna Seca or Nurburgring would be a better test track as SSR7 is mostly about a car's top speed.

Subaru S206 NBR Challenge Package '12. No contest. Followed by a bunch more Subarus and eventually Mitsubishi.

If you don't like 4WD, your best 2.0L car is the Ford Focus RS '02 followed by Honda Integra Type R (DC5) '04.

If you don't like 4WD or FF, your best 2.0L car is the Honda S2000 '99 followed by the Subaru BRZ/Toyota 86/Scion FR-S and Nissan Silvia Spec-R Aero (S15) '02.

If you don't like 4WD, FF, or FR, your best 2.0L car is the Toyota MR2 GT-S '97 followed by the Toyota MR2 G-Limited '97.

As for SSR7, I have no idea which of these will be faster because I've never hit top speed with any of them, but these are the fastest 2.0L cars in the game for their respective drivetrains.

That's the good point, I am up to do this kind of tests when create my top 5 or 10 list of 2 litre cars. I agree Laguna Seca, Nordschleife or maybe SPA would be better.

I Laguna as my test track for all cars

This gives me a great idea. When I get PCARS (And GT7 when it comes out) I will take EVERY car around a track and jot down their lap times then post them on GTP. I will (if available) use Laguna Seca.

Only problem with this is it's a 2.5L.

No it's not. http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/sedans/1112_2012_subaru_impreza_wrx_sti_s206_first_drive/

"Re-profiled internals, a new turbocharger, a new exhaust and new ECU settings conjure 316bhp of power, and torque of up to 318lb ft, from the 2.0-litre flat four that Subaru fits to the standard STi in Japan.

On top of that, Subaru has equipped one third of the cars in the S206’s 300-off production run with its ‘NBR Challenge Package’, which consists of even more special 19in alloys, a carbonfibre roof, an adjustable carbonfibre spoiler and special badging."

RF Vehicle right here, the Volkswagen `Beetle' 1500, 1970 MY (the 1300 is the RR we all know and love.)

OK your source is more credible than mine, haha. I had also assumed it was 2.5L since the current, and at that time, motor, was and is a 2.5L.
