Is probably Nurburgring level 22. 82,600 Cr for a 7-7.5 min race. In one hour it can be run about 8 times for a total of 660.8k cr. I'd have to say the Dream Car Race Championship is second because of the diversity of events. It takes longer and gives you more. But with Nurburgring it's bang, bang in 15 min I can have 165 Cr and a new premium car. Daytona in Like the Wind is a close 3rd, but I find ovals pretty boring. Get on that track in an X1 and in minutes you have credits. I'm an X1 lover and prefer to pamper them instead of grind them.

All that brings up another issue. Bob ran two endurance races. Grand Valley and Tsukuba, 2.5 hrs and 4 hrs and only received 49.5k Cr and 59.5k Cr. That is completely out of porportion to the time spent on the track. Using the Nurburgring example of 82.6k for 7.5 min. of racing a 2 .5 hr race should yield 1.65 million (150 min divided by 7.5 min = 20 times 82.6 = 1.65 million). A 4 hr race should yield 2.643 million (240/7.5*82.6). If that were the case grinding would be a lot easier to deal with. Just start a 4 hr race and take the Mrs to a movie. Come back and you've got your Pagani Zonda!

I like doing the American Champ Indy Race. 5 laps for 96(3?)'000cr in a maxed out ZR1 RM. I like to set myself laptime challenges, like keeping it under 41.3 for the whole race, or trying to break into the 40's...

There's a race in the Lightweigh Seasonal that nets you about 100k in 3 mins .... oh wait.

But yeah, the seasonals are really good though. Even for some of the easy ones you can get around 100k for 2-3 lap races.

That is a BS excuse.

In Final Fantasy you tend to grind aswell. Hell, it's even an aspect of the gameplay. But you do want to and actually you do grind against different opponents at different places with different task and get a progress all the time making the grind everytime more or less challenging or faster or simply... different from before.

Racing 100 times the same track against the same opponents, most of the time with the same car, to grind for the same amount of money to buy finally the cars you really want to drive... well that is BS, Sir and sad that this is also the only way to get them.
Sure, you can try to avoid grinding and earning money with online races... but I have a life aswell, you know.

You, see, there is a difference between actually grinding and... just grinding

You don't have to grind if you don't want to...

You don't need to grind. You let your friends do it for you. Remote racing and all that. Plus with the B-Spec Grinder you can just leave the PS3 running and get millions of credits in seconds. Well...maybe not that fast. But you get the idea. I reached 16 million just through remote racing after starting from about 500,000...

You don't have to grind if you don't want to...

true, but then most of the real cool exotic super cars are out of my reach.
I really believe that the majority of the users tend to grind just to get their dream cars earlier. Is there any kind of gameplay mechanic that prevents us from not doing boring grinding? Nope, not as far as I know. You can win the same amount of money everytime.
Shall there be a gameplay mechanic to prevent ludicrous boring grinding for hours and hours? Why not! The online feature would benefit from this or any other feature were you can earn some extra cash.
B-spec remote? maybe, but I'm a GT5 veteran, day one, 'back in my time', we old veterans had no remote b-spec and we're talking about A-Spec.

Come on guys, it's just too easy to start grinding to get those lovely 4mill+ cars. Kaz left you no other, better choice.
Are you really happy with this? Wouln't you like to earn your cash with more fun? I would love to.

I've done hardly any grinding and despite "having a life" have nearly all the top value cars I like.

I glitched.

Just goes to show you don't want to play the game the way it was ment to be played. If you wanted to play the game you should have been doing it without having to abuse a bug. But I guess when the pokemon generation get into racing they still "Gotta catch'em all"

I payed my money, I can play the game however I want. I want to drive all my favourite cars whenever I want. I have no interest in collecting every car in the game.
I also want to race my favourite cars online, glitching has made this possible.

Without glitching I would have given up chasing unicorns in this game a long time ago.

Maybe you are correct, mayble I don't want to play the game the way it's meant to be played, but who are you to decide the correct way to play a video game? Can you send me the manual?

Besides, I payed my money, i can play my game however I please.

This is incorrect. The less time spent in A-Spec equates to more time playing the game.

But I guess when the pokemon generation get into racing they still "Gotta catch'em all"

At least there's one generation wise enough not abide by nonsensical imaginary "morals" or whatever it is that people call playing "the right way".

"Like the Wind" event is actually the fastest and most lucrative grind, if you're so inclined to do so.

The Indy race within takes roughly 3 - 4 minutes, and nets 70k per race. So, for time spent, you make a lot moire money in a much shorter time than any other event (that is grindeable) in A-spec.

I am shocked so few people know about this. Everyone seems to grind the Dream Car Championship, or the American Championship. Both of which net you less money (for time spent), and take longer to run.

Furthermore, those of you coming in here and trying to tell people they are playing the game wrong... Just stop. People can play the game any way they want. It doesn't effect you, so stop whining about it. Any more of this nonsense will be met with an infraction.

;)

I understand grinding, but what is glitching. ?!? Sorry for dumb Q

There are a few "glictches" in the construction of a few of the tracks that allow you to drive off the track to certain locations and almost immediately finish the race with a win. For example the Nurburgring 24hr level 40 allows you to drive off and in about 3 or 4 circles in the middle of nowhere finish, win and collect about 1.8 or 1.9 million. I think PD fixed that one.

But this thread is about which races are best to grind. We all already know grinding is a pain. I'm close to level 28 B spec and I'll probably reach level 35 in the next week or two. From there (35) to 40 will probably take a month or two.

In the extreme series. The American race around Indy about 3 mins 40 secs 97,000cr

A month in level 35 to 40 bspec??? Are you insane?? It take 8 days i mean. With 24 h le mans!!

You're absolutely correct. I forgot the American Championship only takes a little over 3 minutes (with the right car).

Still not sure why anyone grinds the Dream Car Championship. It's like 10 laps, isn't it?

;)

I think when the muscle car seasonal event comes back people will find a car/tuning combination that will make it through daytona (i think it's daytona) faster than grinding Indy in the American Championship. It might not ever work though.

A while ago, in an other thread someone mentioned racing through an actual championship and leaving the last race in order to get the championship bonus might be faster in the long run...but what championship and with what car i do not know.

Does anyone else miss the original seasonal events? The 5 or so races for specific cars that would net over 2 million total?

No it was awsome and challenging I loved very much the Nascar car in Nurburbring.
I really hope that those event come back as is fun and addictive.

You are a hypocrite in the biggest sense. All you do is troll these forums making comments to piss people off and then report them, and thus add more fuel to the fire. If you are so bored with the game go play something else, why not go play something else? You admit to being bored by cheating/glitching to get all the cars you want instead of enjoying the entertainment of the game. The way to play the game you know damn well is racing. Once you get done with single player find a group and race online? Ohh wait you seemed to have gotten bored with that and thus you had to abuse the wall bugs and get what you wanted. Sounds like a pokemon collector to me.

The X2010 will easily be the fastest around Indy.

;)
But the Redbull can't be used in the American Races for some odd reason, it isn't an "American" car.
