Which ever one you think is best. Everyone likes something different in a car - whether is the x2010 or the prius. Personally I like my stock cars (NASCAR) but I've met players who claim there civic is the best. It's all up to you.
 
The best car on GT5 is... subjective.
 
Too many really to choose from! I'm sure the X1 is phenomenal but ain't got 1! The Mine's Skyline is a pretty damn good car, almost no over or understeer! Then you've got the Motul Mugen Honda Civic racer which has lots of grip for a FWD car, even though it is a race car! My FGT would be good but it has 22k miles on it & needs rigidity overhaul which costs 500k :o !
 
Well best as in, can win the most, and is fastest and best handling, the X1.

But my favourite car is the Jaguar S Type R. I love taking it around the nurburgring.

By this thread I think you mean 'Your favourite car' because the best car technically is the X1.
My favourite car is the Mines Skyline! Love love love it!

I like the X2010, all the stock cars, my FGT, my race modded impreza and the 2010 camaro
 
By the mean of speed - ofc X1...

My favourite car tho is BMW M3 GTR Race Car :) it's not the fastest, nor the strongest or the best looking. But I just love it :)
 
I prefer the 1987 Motul Mugen Honda Civic race car!

F1 car is not as fun as this car.

I also like the 458 Italia.
 
The best car in GT5 is the one that suits YOU and gives YOU the most overall enjoyment when using it. It is an individual's choice. ATM mine is the M3 GTR Race Car 01 on the Nurmburgring , it is not the fastest nor the best at handling but it is the one i enjoy doing Nurmburgring with. No doubt when i am bored of that track i will find another best car for whichever track i use. It is horses for courses. To simply drive the "BEST CAR" as it is the best car can't be sastifying to the degree of using the car which best suits your style of driving and gives you enjoyment driving it. Driving the best car for only the reason it is rated overall best car well - it would be like having a Grand piano in my house it looks pretty and charming and is the best Piano but no use to me unless i can play it.

This thread should be about the funnest cars. Fun cars aren't always particuarly good.

Obviously one would say that the X1 is the best car, but is it the most fun car?

i really like the Audi R8 Le Mans quattro, trying to control it on the Ring :crazy:

On paper and in terms of lap times? its the X1, by a mile. But personally, i love the F430 scuderia. In 600hp races it dominates, and looks like the race car if you put the wing and body kit on it :D... But honestly, theres too many cool cars in this game for there to be a definitive "best" car, because just like music, everybody has a different taste.
 
I can tell you one thing, for the money (credits) you spend on it, the Lotus Evora is a killer car.
 
Speed 12 because it looks like darn bat mobile and is scary to drive. The Enzo is probably one of the coolest cars ever and a lot of fun to drive.
 
Im liking the speed 12 alot but it doesnt seem to want to corner at allll.
 
So far I've found the Zonda R to be the best all round car.

Bob loves it too.
 
Pre x1 and fgt, I think its zonda r 09. Got it as a prized car.

Beat Like a Wind without costing an arm by RMing a vette.

Post like a wind - Minolta 88CV. Angry bob likes. I have a cool bob at level 20. An absolute bollocks at grand turismo all stars. Too scared **** to perform overtaking move.

The R10 is MUCH slower than all the other LMPs :D Why PD did that is uncertain though, mistake from their side.

Obviously the X2010 is the fastest, the the Formula cars, group C cars and LMP cars etc.

I would say that the biggest (positive) surprise in performance is the Amuse S2000 GT1 Turbo and the Nissan R390 GT1 Road Car, fantastic cars.
 
I find the R10 very easy to drive quick. It's definitely slower in a straight line but I find the handling characteristics excellent.
 
so far ive had the msot fun in the Raybrig NSX...that thing around the ring has made a few bad days bearable
 
Honda Life Step Van; It can be faster than a X1 when pushed by another one.
