I have no clue when it comes to specs but imo that model looks better than the new one

This is my third favorite porsche of all time. The first and greatest porsche road car was the 959. But the gt1 comes before the 993 gt2 in my book

Yeah I remember that. Didn't it come about, because the ACO or the people who run Le Mans said they were changing the regs so that the GT1 class could only be entered with cars which had, had 25 cars produced and sold. So Porsche seeing another chance at an easy victory built a C1 prototype and made it road legal. I would imagine, it's probably the fastest road car ever isn't it? Could easily beat a McLaren F1 i'd imagine.
A simplyfied version would be like Mazda making the 787B road legal . Except imagine that with a lot faster car....
