The Best Trilogies

Acting in the Godfather, for the most part was exceptional. Godfather III, should've never been made.

One of my favorite scenes in all of movies was when James Caan's character beat up his brother in Law with a trash can. man that was good stuff.

I thought the Godfather III was a good movie, but it shouldn't have been Godfather III. It didn't have the same feeling that the previous 2 movies had. Then again, times changed, which made a different setting. Andy Garcia was a corny pretty boy though who didn't fit in at all.


Another trilogy that should have been mentioned is the Die Hard Trilogy. All 3 are great action movies, Die Hard with a Vengeance being my favorite.

When I saw Die Hard 2 for the first time it blew me away.... then I was really anticipating part 3 and it was even better in my opinion. Bruce willis with that billboard standing around naked in the ghetto is so damn funny.

Yeah, I want that trilogy on DVD so bad! The second Die Hard was the first one I saw and really liked it. Third one, not so much, but it was really long time ago. My taste has changed a lot since then. In the first one, I could barely recognize Bruce Willis. He was so frickin' young!

Back to the Future got my vote. Its undoubtedly, one of the coolest movies ever made.

I've never seen a movie so cool about time travel. 👍

yeh i bought the special edition with the copy of a film still in it, for £18. if Die Hard was up there it would have been a port of call for me, but also Indy should have been on too. but my vote went to LOTR, as i loved the films although i agree with Famine I think it can only really be classed as a single, very long film. and i love Mafia stuff but the Godfather films were dull for me. I also liked the American Pie films and Back to the future films but i havent watched them enought to grant them a vote.

I kinda have to agree. Whenever anyone thinks of a Mafia flick, they think about Godfather. Goodfellas and Casino maybe, but Godfather is the classic.

Matrix only has one italian actor that's why. But the Godfather has almost all italians, that's what makes the Godfather "Il Migliore" Bi**h.
