I would be very surprised if it had become blocked so quickly as its a relatively new machine. I would advise taking it booking it into the genius bar for checking as I had an issue with my fan recently which turned out that it wasn't blocked it had in fact stopped functioning all together. That was a quick and cheap fix. They'll run a diagnostic to check the fan functionality and you'll be able to find the issue for free.
