athough as far as drifts go, this is poor, really poor, i just wanted to get the concept across before i got my settings sorted out.

yeah it's no substitute. but if you had more frames you can see the line people take and how their car is moving in the drift

hey nismo mark, welcome to the forums

nice spin, ;)
the photoshopping is great though, seamless 👍
from that, it looks like you might work on using the countersteer and throttle together to control rotation, keep the input smooth, and dont overdo it - as you appear to have done. And as you say, your settings will play a massive role once you have them perfected. Take a stroll through the drift reference Swift and I have compiled, might help you out a bit. The link is in my signature.

(that's a nasty turn eh? ....I rarely complete a drift through it myself)

a question though.
what warranted making a new thread for this? is there something wrong with posting in the drift photo thread?

In an effort to reduce the cluttered nature that this forum is taking on please, take the time to look around before posting and determine whether or not your post is better suited to be a reply in another previsouly started thread. Don't forget to read the sticky 'Read this' threads at the top of the forum, and make heavy use of the search function.

thanks for understanding
enjoy your stay

sorry for starting a new thread, but i have been looking around for the last week and hadn't seen anyone do the multi frame drift pic sort of thing.. so i thought i might be noticed better in a new thread, sort of like the panorama thread in the photomode section.

yeah i wasn't really trying on that one, just wanted to get some sideways action to use on the example.

Thanks for the advice though i will think about what you said next time i am practicing.

Great pic!

although I do think that it would have fit in on one of the picture threads. But it is pretty cool and I think it deserves it's own!

BTW, what's up with all the "I don't think this warrants it's own thread" stuff lately? ridiculous.

because we dont have a mod yet, and it makes everything that much more cluttered since theres not a way to keep it monitered as much as if we had a real mod here.

I agree there should be some sort of policy but for crying out loud the last few posts I have read there has been someone who automatically decides the thread shouldn't be there... when it is a perfectly reasonable post. I agree with what someone posted in another thread, but with a minor amendment to it...."Jumpy wannabe-mods"

You're right, and they're going to jump on you for posting off topic. Oh wait.. I am right now. This will get merged into the Photo Thread shortly.
